Went there with a group of 6 others and the service was very good. One person in our party was finicky and had no problems swapping out a meal that wasn't what he was expecting. The portions were large with lots of biscuits and bread provided. The only side that wasn't flavorful was the gravy on rice, since I'm Asian I don't like boil in a bag type rice.

Two Saturday's ago, I was with 3 friends. This is our normal meeting place to catch up and eat good breakfast however things turned for the worst that day. It was kinda of busy but we were in way back area and just having a good time when the girl who gave us our drinks approached us advising we had to leave because they were too busy. I have never ever been told that we had a time limit to be seated. I think the manager should have come to us to explain the reasons why we had to leave even if it was because it was busy. I felt it was very rude. Again, last time, we had more people and never told to leave. I am not sure what was going on but our friends and I have decided to seek another place now because we felt as we were disrespected. Its sad that Kelly's would treat paying customers that way. Our total bill was over $80.00 and to be told to leave was so uncalled for.

Vegetable beef soup is really good and reason I keep coming back. Service is decent.However...- Last two times I've been there, the soup had been luke warm at best.- have not had chicken salad.- Has been fairly dirty inside and need to wipe down the front door glass occasionally to get hand prints off the glass - not a good look for a restaurant.I will say I've been avoiding the place because of these things.

I got the fish and shrimp from Friday's daily special. Was not hot. Would have been better if it had been hot. Took a long time to get our food.

Kayla was so sweet and attentive to our party of 7! Thank you for being kind to my Father, who visited from England and wanted to take her home with him. As a vegan, I give the food a meh, but it was all about the company that day! Here are my friends, Dale and Nettie Campbell <3

Great as always. Very tired. Just got off work. Wanted to eat and not use my brain for 10 seconds. My server Max was fantastic. He left me alone and checked on me enough. Ha! As usual, Kelley's and the staff go above and beyond....dang, now I'm hungry.

In leaving another review, Tripadvisor asked if there were other locations nearby I could review. I've been to many of the Kelley's in the area, but come here the most as it's the closest to home. I've eaten there at all times of the day, breakfast and dinner, and have never left unpleased. My favorite would have to be the chicken fried steak, which is always huge. If it's not the best in Texas, as everyone wants to claim, it's certainly up there on the list. Thankfully they always offer it on their daily dinner special, which comes with three sides. I always have to get their carrot and raisin salad. With so many sides, along with the complementary rolls and cornbread muffins, many times I've had to take part of my dinner home. I love that Kelley's was started by an HPD officer, and have been touched that the staff have given me police and military discounts, by noticing the cards in my wallet when I pay my bill. Unless Kelley's takes a huge nosedive in their food or service, which I can never imagine, this place will always be on my dining list!

This is a very busy restaurant.... the food is okay and the wait staff was attentive however it took 45 minutes for me to get 2 pancakes and 3 pieces of bacon. I think I had 4 cups of coffee before getting our food. Portions are very big so for the price it's okay we spent about $12-15 a person.

We had a great visit, good service and loved it, we sat right down and had desserts brought home. They are very good and I do recommend them very much. This is the chocolate cake and it is amazing. ?

I ordered from here on Door Dash for the first time and the food was amazing! It was fresh and tasted good. I needed more day and pepper for the eggs and grits but I had some at where I was staying. I wasn’t a fan of the blackberry jelly so I just used the butter which by the way, claps to you for using the best better out there! Land of lakes! I will definitely order from here again!
