Simon is such a caring B&B owner. He was very kind and attentive and is an INCREDIBLE chef. We enjoyed staying at his B&B as the food was amazing, the room was cozy, and the scenery was beautiful. It was the best weekend we have had in a long time.
Had a hot date with this lady last night at Sabor a Pasion Estate & Vineyard.If you haven’t been before, it’s worth the drive for a date night. Delicious food and great personal service from Chef Simon and his two servers. The restaurant is set on 15 acres in the piney woods. Check it out!
What a GREAT experience. First class service from Chef Simon and the entire staff. 5 stars all the way around. From the wood fires oven to the attentive staff this is a highly recommended destination for peaceful getaway!

Fresh, delicious well prepared meals. We had dinner here and the hospitality was amazing. Tge place was cute and clean.
Excellent experience and service. Simon bakes the best bread. Pasta tortellini and salad with homemade dressing were delicious. You must try the famous pavlova, can’t miss it. Simon was a great host, the cabins are cozy and very well maintained, everything was neat and clean. We’ll come back for sure!

We had such a fabulous time while staying and dining (2 nights)! We had 4 adults (parents and grandparents) and 4yr old and 1 yr old. We were in town for Polar Express and I wasn’t too sure that it was the best place for kids but we all loved it. We had 3 cottages right next to each other. Beds are very comfy, rooms are super clean. You could put a pack n play in the room if you wanted - we just spilt the kids to sleep with one of us. Rooms have a shower setup but the kids enjoyed having something different from their usual bath. There are cute porches to visit on (and rock on when a tiny wakes up too early) and right outside was a beautiful field for the kids to play in. For dinner and breakfast, Simon created gourmet meals just steps from our door, with kid friendly pasta for dinner and fruit and croissants for them for breakfast. He also was very accommodating to send dessert to go when grandad headed back to play with the kids before we were finished eating. The food for the adults was amazing- creative and very tasty, both breakfast and lunch. We brought our own wine but the Walmart in town has some pretty good options if you forget it. Only thing to note is tables are all up high- the 4yr old is fine but maybe bring a kids hook on high chair thay attaches to the table if you have a little one. But she was very happy eating dinner in someone’s lap so it wasn’t a big deal. The location is great, just a few miles from downtown Palestine and the Texas State Railroad, but you also feel like you are away from it all. We didn’t miss the TV or WiFi, and the data on our phones (Verizon and AT&T) was ok- spotty but fine. The kids loved seeing the hawks circling, running in the field, and exploring the grounds. Simon was a lovely host to chat with and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We are looking forward to Polar Express next year and will be making reservations to stay at Sabor a Pasion again as well. Hopefully we can time it to experience a pizza night too. My husband and I are also hoping to take a “kid free” trip back here sometime too! Also, we somehow left two of our favorite matchbox cars there and Simon is sending them to us (thank goodness)!
