OMG!!!!!! There really are no words this place was amazing. I'm very thankful I don't have to drive to Louisiana to get good Cajun food and the portions were huge. The food didn't last long enough for pictures lol
This place is off the main road, so if you don't know it's there, you don't know about it. We heard about it thru friends that visit the area frequently. Food is always good. Nice atmosphere. Saturday's have a live band.
Con:Extremely expensive! Poboy was $15 and very low on shrimp. Bread was not the freshest. I was charged $2.50 for tea that tasted a week old! No apologies from staff. No soda fountain-cans only $1.75!Pro:Good shrimp, fries, music.
My knee said the crab legs and Gina said the shrimp basket was great my oyster's not so good but friendly service funny people
Oh my this place is so pretty and there crawfish is so good I mean everything was so good. you won’t get disappointed.
I recommend that you get a table as soon as you get there. They get in the loooooong line to order. The Gumbo was tasty, as well as the Coconut Shrimp. Get a small order of their orange sauce, that will go really good with the Coconut Shrimp. I wouldn't recommend to get the Oyster Poboy unless is early in the morning. Our Oysters tasted like it was fried in the same oil as the fish.Great family ambiance, they have Karaoke on Fridays, and a band playing every Saturday.Don't forget your boots for country dancing. BYOB.
ONE OF THE BEST PLACES FOR CRAW FISH , SHRIMP CRABLEGS, VERY NICE ENVIROMENT LIVE BAND AND MUSIC!
When we got there, the parking lot was almost full. The line to order was slow though there were only 5 other people in front of us. When we got to the register, we were asked if we had a table. It would have been nice to know that we had to get a table before getting in line to order. Luckly my wife went to look for a spot while I waited for confirmation that we had a table. With her charisma we got a table and we ordered. We ordered the coconut shrimp with an additional side of their famous "orange sauce". We also got. Cup of their gumbo, their gator bites and a oyster poboy. The coconit shrimp was good, but not good enpugh to write home about. The fries were definitely good. Their gator bites were very flavorful and good. I wpuld order them again. Their gumbo was, how should I put it... OK. Where they let me down was their oyster poboy... when I went to take the first bite, I caught a whiff of "high tide" or fishy smell. The taste was not much better. I was hungry and managed to eat the rest of the fishy poboy. This was the worst oyster poboy I have ever had. I am sorry to say, but I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I gave it one star to write this review.Idk why some have rated this place above 1 star. Must be friends/family giving them such grand reviews, bc it won't be me.If you are hungry you'll want to go elsewhere. Totally ridiculous & EXTREMELY dinky, tee tiny portion sizes!! I eat small to average portion sizes but this was ludacris!!! Literally 2 Tablespoon sized bites of coleslaw!!!! AYK???!!! I asked our server if that was the typical portion size & she said yes.The coleslaw was part of my "meal" which was also very tiny... enough food suitable for a skinny 4 yr old. The tea was dark as Egypt @ night. Over $55.oo for 2 meals, we left hungry NEVER to return. Your basic fast food w/a slight cajun flare w/ inflammatory prices & toddler sized portions in a bar type setting. Total waste of time/money with an incredibly LOUD unfriendly & uninviting atmosphere. Don't judge this place by an over packed parking lot or the delicious pics of food on the establishments page(s). We made those mistakes also thinking it would be @ least somewhat decent. Not so. What a fraud.
Food is great! Entertainment even better! BYOB completes the experience?
