First of all, food was very good. Hot( well not the Mac and cheese) fresh and plentiful.However, staff needs a lot of work.We waited almost 5 minutes to be seated...staff saw us but too busy talking among themselves.After getting seated, another 5 minutes before the server approached.She was very nice but never introduced herself...but that's minor.I saw what I believed to be the manager and he never approached a single table to ask how our food was or if we needed anything...our server did though.While the staff was standing around chatting, someone could have been spot sweeping the floor...saw food and used napkins under tables.This may come across as petty, I have been in food service for many years, so I hope that instead comes across as constructive criticism.You have great food...now lets bring the service up to the same level.
Best part of our meal was the bread, which thankfully filled us up, and the cheesy rice and broccoli. Our server Meagan was super nice as well. As for everything else we were highly disappointed. The chicken fried ribs, which came highly recommended, was like eating a big glob of rubbery fat. Nowhere near tender. We spit most of it out and gave up on the rest. The tea was super sweet the only savior we had were the lemon slices. The fried green tomatoes tasted alright but were super hard. The mashed potatoes we bland and dry. We were just passing through. Definitely won't be back.
Every time we're in town we stop by here. It's consistently good food and friendly service. We love the new building by the way!Today we met Chloe the hostess and Johnny D the waiter. Chloe was so sweet and got everything ready to accommodate our party of 9 quickly. It was Johnny D's 2nd day there and he KILLED IT! We had 2 youngsters and 3 teens in our party and he did everything he could to keep them happy.We appreciate you all!
We had a very large party of 9 during a dinner rush. They were very accommodating. We were seated very quickly. Food was amazing, as always. We don't get to come here often, as we are from out of town, but we do everytime we are here. Love you guys!
Today was an emotional day for me because I woke up with a headache and my brain was fuzzy. I have onset seizures and hypothyroidism that makes my head even more so lethargic. Well while at this location our server Megan Crawford was absolutely a God send. She was very welcoming, kind, and helped me and didn’t judge me for how I spoke and how I used ASL for some things. I highly recommend this location and this sweetheart of a server. The food was great for our first time ever being there. The service was above and beyond. And these ladies loved our daughter and our baby loved them! They really turned my day around. ??????
The staff was great! Friendly energetic and ready to help but the food wasn’t good. I hate to even say it. My brisket tacos was tasteless and impossible to eat because they were so soggy. The fried brisket my Husband had was tasteless also. Staff thumbs up, food thumbs down?

Will not go back! I have been there twice the first time the server did not seem to know anything about their menu but I thought well it’s probably because they just opened and maybe he’s new. The second time my husband and I were going to go there for dinner. When we walked in the first thing I noticed was the floor was dirty I thought well it’s probably because it’s the entryway. We waited a minute or two for the host which gave me time to notice that the floor throughout the whole restaurant was filthy. This waitress was very slow and didn’t seem to put much energy into her job there were several clean booths available but she picked one that she had to go wipe down first. So when she finally took us to her table that was wet we noticed they were huge pieces of chicken nugget looking things all over the floor underneath our table. There is no reason for this the restaurant was maybe a quarter full and it was not a busy time yet I’m sure they had several hours throughout the day to tidy up the place. In conclusion we did not order and got up and left. I am not impressed at all especially for a new building it should have looked very clean and inviting. Sad to since Palestine really doesn’t have too many places to eat out
Just the right size menu so food selection was easy. The service was prompt and friendly. Thou this was the first time we have dined there the food we choose was served hot and was excellent taste and texture. Highly recommend this restaurant for couples and families.
Great service and great food that is reasonably priced. My first time eating there while traveling to see family.
