On 6-19-22. Ticket #355....I ordered a family size okra, family size potato and gravy, 3 chicken tenders..was asked to wait as she made sure they had okra.. they did and would take 6 minutes..that was fine. I got to the window and paid $15.96...after I pay I'm told they have no gravy...whatever....I leave..when I opened the mashed potatoes they were cold ..COLD! These are the chicken tenders, I paid $1.59×3=$4.77. They were also COLD! I have turned them in for health code violations. The past 3-4 times I've been there they were out of everything, seriously everything. I will not ever go back! Don't waist your money!!
The food itself was good. The staff was friendly. However, I think maybe they are understaffed? We went through the drive-through. We had an order of fish in our order which we always have to wait for, no big deal. But we got our drink when we paid.. no straw. We waited about 15 minutes. A little long, but ok. We get our food and head back on the road (long trip).. and we discover no plastic ware, no napkins.. just the food. Kind of annoying.
I have been waiting for more than 35 minutes if I don’t ask they will never take my food to the truck Wth they never answered the phone and now even am sorry
Wow, this place has gone down hill. The dining area was a hot mess, trash everywhere. To make things worse, the young lady taking our order was more interested in playing on her phone at the register than helping us…when she did she was flat out rude. Our order came out correct but as we ate there were several other people complaining about their orders being wrong. They were no short staffed…but staffed wrong. Not sure if this franchise or corporate owned but either way they should be embarrassed.
Fast and tasty snack in the institution, all recommend. Everything is nice and good. The institution thinks first of all about the comfort of customers.
Havent been in a little while. Customer service was horrible. Drive thru worker was rude. Can see through the window and the workers were playing more than working. The food was not good at all. Tasted old. The biscuits were old and cracked apart. Chicken was dried out. The tea tasted old.
Took 30 minutes to get some cold corn fritters and bad tasting tea. I watched the staff walk around play on their phones and just not care about the line of cars. I’ll just take my business somewhere else. Just sad!!!
Very disappointed in the Chicken Express here in Palestine. My wife called ahead of time and asked if they would prepare two 3 piece fish meals. When we arrived approximately 15 mins later, our food wasn't ready. My wife and I waited patiently for approximately 10 more minutes. There was a piece of fish that had been lying in the pan since before we got there. When the fresh fish came up, one of the young ladies working there started placing fish in boxes, skipping over the piece that had been in the pan for quite some time. When she started to fix our food, she reached in and got the old piece of fish. At this point, my wife stepped up and told her that she didn't want that old piece of fish. The young lady turned around and began arguing at my wife and saying she didn't put it in our box. We clearly saw it happen. At that point my wife asked for our money back. A young gentleman there came over to help with the refund. There were two managers there. The female manager came over and was rude toward the young man trying to assist us. He was asking how to do a refund. She snapped at him and told him that you don't swipe a card to do a refund and then walked away saying that she doesn't know how to do a refund. All this happening while the the young lady that was arguing at my wife was in the background saying "somebody better get her before I come around the counter" and clapping her hands, (talking about my wife). After a few moments, a male manager came over and gave us a refund. However, he shorted us by 64 cents. No, 64 cents isn't much but with the way we were treated during our visit, we weren't going to allow it. We asked for the manager to come back but he never did. He was walking around in the back of the store talking on his cellphone. The young gentleman that had helped us before, whom was the only polite and helpful individual there, came over and gave us the rest of our change. In all the years that we have gone to Chicken Express, we have never been treated with so much uncare and blatant disregard. It's ashame that service in a lot of places is less than courteous now. All that is wanted is the money. The customer doesn't matter. We will not be visiting Chicken Express anytime soon if ever again.
Food was half cooked and greasy. Staff was rude
Fast friendly service and great food, that's a plus in my book.
