(Palastine TX location)They're really good about keeping the place clean, the food is awesome no matter what I get, the customer service is really great except for that one guy with blonde hair that used to have a man bun, he could have a little more of a positive attitude. Every time he greets us, he gives us an eyeroll and a sigh like he's not happy to take care of customers.? Other than him, everyone else is awesome.??
Chick-fil-A has been in Palestine for almost 2yrs now and you would think they could get the orders right.I have been there numerous times and everytime they have gotten my order wrong. They either forget to put every item in my sack or they change my order completely.I like Chick-fil-A, the food is good.Please get this fixed!!
I work at a Chick-fil-A myself, so I noticed things that maybe others might not notice. I ordered a Cobb salad with spicy grilled chicken, but the order taker (who was not too friendly and unprofessional) put spicy breaded chicken. So I spoke with the man at the window and he took the salad from me to take off the breaded chicken and put on the grilled. Number one, he should not have taken the salad from me since I had already opened it. What he should have done is let me keep it a remake it. That's what we have to do at our store. As well, I waited for twenty minutes in the drive thru for my order. Also, my salad was under portioned, and if I had noticed it at the store, I would have gotten a refund. There are lines along the top of the salad bowls that we have to fill up with lettuce and spring mix, and then put the toppings on depending on the salad. I had no tomatoes as well. I was really disappointed in this, especially since I was looking forward to trying out another Chick-fil-A.
Excellent service and friendly staff. They let us order at the drive thru so we could sit out with our dogs. The manager was very accommodating.Food as always was great.
I don’t think I’ve ever complained about Chick-fil-A before but this was just sad... Really disappointed in the kale crunch salad I was given. Wilted, half ful and just drenched in dressing. They said this was just how it comes.. Oh, well.. Lesson learned I guess...Everything else was spot on and delicious as usual.
Sweet Tea is so-so at best. Tea is not strong enough. Very weak. I ordered ahead in the app for dine in. 2 Bacon, Egg, & Cheese biscuit meals with hash browns and extra bacon. What I got for my extra bacon was 3 slices of bacon that were about 2 1/2 inches long. We couldn't even tell there was bacon on the biscuit. At other Chick Fil-As, you could see multiple layers of bacon, not just barely a single layer like here. While we were eating, the drive thru did not move for at least 10-15 minutes. We were so happy when this location was built, but, it has been a disappointment from the start. It doesn't matter if it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Perhaps Corporate should come to visit for a week or two and see how poorly they are being represented, and how slow the service is.
I don't know what is going on here now, but it was bad... really bad. It wasn't busy, because it was well after the lunch rush. There were no workers outside taking orders, which is really odd for Chick-fil-A. Then I found out that it's often not staffed properly anymore. Ok...so, I think maybe they are extremely shorthanded. No biggie, right? WRONG!!! (Once we got to the window we realized that there were quite a lot of workers inside.) The man taking our order either needed hearing aides, or didn't need to be taking orders. I had to repeat our very simple order so many times that I lost count. We had zero hopes that our order would be correct. Get almost to the window, and a young lady comes out to ask us what our order is. Then she repeats it back incorrectly and tells me I didn't order my food correctly. ??!! I've ordered it exactly the same way for YEARS with no problem from any Chick-fil-A, including this one...EVER. Now, we're actually past irritated and are getting angry. The MANAGER walks by and tells her to let us go to the window. Turns out he's the one who's doing such a horrible job taking orders! What the heck?!! Then we pull up to the window and a very nice young man greets us. I tell him we are concerned that our order isn't remotely right because of the bizarre way our order has gone so far. He asks me exactly what we ordered. He checks. It absolutely incorrect. He tells the kitchen the correct order, apologizes for the way things have gone, and assures me it will be correct when we get it. Y'all...it was one Chick-fil-A Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich with American cheese & no tomatoes and one Chick-fil-A Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich with no cheese & no pickles, and some Chick-fil-A sauce...just the 2 sandwiches. That's it! If it hadn't been for that young man at the window, I would have left and gotten food elsewhere. As it was, the order process was so bad, that we didn't dare order more than we did. We ended up going elsewhere to get the rest of the food we needed. What has happened to this location?!! It's really giving Chick-fil-A a bad name.
I wish the Palestine location was better. They would get my lunch money every week day. I leave there unsatisfied at least 50% of the time. I'll start taking much and save a few coins
This place is great. They are diverse. Today I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup, my husband had chicken tortilla soup. He also had his usual #2 spicey deluxe.The staff are great...its like they like what they do.Today is rainy and chilly. I witnessed the manager escort a lady and her baby to her car he held her umbrella so they would be dry. He didn't have to, he could have " been too busy", manager refilled our drinks for us.They didn't appear to be short staffed. Maybe because the manager is leading by example.Every staff member spoke well to each other, with respect and dignity and spoke very nicely to us.
Fast, friendly service! Great food, as usual! No supply issues with anything we ordered.They have the best spicy chicken sandwich anywhere, hands down!
