Large Cajun food portions with drive thru convenience. I ordered the shrimp po boy which came with tartar sauce (you can choose mayo, tartar sayce, or cocktail sauce) and 5 large fried shrimp on soft bread. Side choices were french fries, fried okra, or onion rings. I chose the okra and it was the best I ever had (and I'm a lifelong okra fan). If you like or need light salt, this wouldn't work for you and the fries have less salt, but the okra breading had such a delightful flavor that I fear drinking and not savoring it a bit longer. It shuuld be noted they have more uncommon offerings, such as boudin balls, rabbit, alligator, deer, oxtail and more. I believe the additonal rareties may only be on the menu next to the drive thru pay window. Delightful flavor and convenience in one, right on the feeder road for I-10.
We have been to this location multiple times. Never a disappointment. Today, for some reason, their machine was not acting right for taking the payment. He said it was on their end and let us have our lunch for free because of it. We offered to go too our bank and bring it back. He refused again. Thanked him again. That is good management (ownership). Food was excellent again....As usual.
The food and service was excellent!!!! Best BBQ pork sandwich and onion rings I have had in years. Then we tried the boudain egg rolls and chicken cracklings instant new favorites ? On the way back stopped again for another bite this time tried the shrimp no disappointment there either and of course had to get more boudain egg rolls and chicken cracklings Definitely will be a stop every time in the area!
Fabulous!Traveled from Houston to La for work today. Office ladies scrabbled to give me an order. I only got two ladies lol. They gushed about this place. On my way back I stopped in. Employees were beyond friendly and helpful. Sold me on some cracklins.(which were amazing). So the spicy sauce is SPICY. however in my opinion the sause is good enough to eat and suffer for. lol Wasnt a hard suffer heat went away quickly.

Great boudin and fish baskets. Made to order, so prep and cook times can be a little slow. Lots of different kinds of meats here like alligator and shrimp boudin.
I order the cracklings, dry. Like they had been cooked yesterday and cooked again today. Llike leather. Disappointed for the price, 6 pieces for $5.00The staff was friendly.
