Great food! Friendly staffs!
I sure hope the name change means it’s under new management!!!!!???? This is NO crab restaurant!!! We should have known on a Friday night we walked in and got seated immediately but I was wanting crab really bad so It went like this….Waitress was awful, knew nothing about the menu at all, took forever to get our drinks (had to remind her several times) meal came out cold and way before the appetizers, after complaining to waitress about the food being cold etc she left and new waitress stepped in which was great!! But then after asking for the butter and utensils twice she brought me the butter and we started eating and dipped my crab meat in squeeze Parkay ( I’d know it anywhere, my Granny always used it) soooo by now I’m pissed off and I’ve had it and I tell the manager just exactly how I felt, he argued with me about the butter and I told him he was an idiot!! Crab is expensive and I was hungry but we paid the bill, left and went to McDonalds!!!
The food here was absolutely amazing. The pricing is beyond reasonable, the flavor in the boil was exactly the kind of flavor I’d been craving, the shrimp were huge as well as the oysters and the crab legs were as full as they could be!! The only reason I’m holding out on the five star review is because the service was pretty bad. You feel a bit like a bother for just being there (even when you’re a table of two out of the only four people in the whole restaurant) but even with that, I’ll happily be a bother for the good food!
Got the short ribs and paid for double, which adds quite a bit to the price. This is what double gets you. Yes that is 5 thin pieces. Second time trying this place and second time I have an issue. Gonna see if I can get a refund for the double portion for both plates. I don't think I'll be back.Edit- The pieces I did get are VERY burnt and not all that great. I ate one and decided I'm not gonna eat the rest, this is getting irritating.
This is your normal boiled seafood affair, however the taste is not great. I understand it’s West Texas but the bar is pretty low here. I had the crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. The flavor was not good for the crawfish. The crawfish were also mushy from being over cooked. The shrimp and sausage flavor was decent but the sausage was cold in the middle! Don’t get the crab cakes…The sweet potato fries we some of the best I have had, lol. Overall, I can’t recommend this place due to these issues.

Me and my husband enjoyed the non busy hours, way better than other seafood shops in Odessa. Thank you for the great atmosphere. We will be returning back.
Went to Crab Station & Oyster Bar—Odessa and had the worst time. I normally LOVE this place but this time all the leech eggs on the crab that was over cooked to the point you couldn’t even get it out of the shell, crawfish was small and soggy. All of it had a bad taste, so many gnats flying around you while you’re eating. The oysters were good, the kids food was good and we were completely willing to pay for what we ate but we literally ate maybe 5 shrimp and a couple crawfish between 3 of us and the discounted our food by 28.00 so we still paid for or sack that we didn’t eat nor take home. So 200.00 later we left completely unsatisfied and overall disgusted. I guess in the long run we will save more money because we will never be back to this establishment.
We came here for the first time on a date night. It was about 5:30 so early dinner. We walked in sat down, we had debated on going to another restaurant. After about 15 min we still hadn’t been greeted. We went ahead and decided why don’t we go ahead and leave. As we are walking out the door, the manager followed us out, saying she is so sorry, the server didn’t hear she had a new table….she promised SHE would take care of us, and please come back inside. So we did! Wonderful waitress, as well as the manager checking in with us. Comp our ticket. And the food was worth it. Definitely worth checking out.
