Excellent grilled chicken salad. Happy hour(s) please consider extending to knock sonic back to reality. Maybe a couple of whole day, happy hours a month or holidays. Don't forget to tip if you can. Hard workers, fast service ?
The manager Brenda is friendly and helpful. Goes out of her way to make sure customers are satisfied and happy. Clean restaurant. Friendly carhops and the cook pays attention to special requests.

It’s Friday, 5:30 p.m. I am not cooking dinner. The week has been long and I am tired. Who wants a cheese burger and fries?! Me! I pass Stars Drive-in on my way to and from work and it beckons me with the sweet siren song of burgers and fries like I used to get from the diners of my youth. One summer, I waitressed at a dinner that had a grill just for the burgers. I was a terrible waitress but I stuck it out to get my free meal every evening after dinner rush. This isn’t a $15 gourmet burger and foo-foo fries meal. It’s a serious burger and fries meal for people who want to eat where they want to eat and not have to sit in a restaurant with other people. And it’s really good food. No pretensions. No big ego. No “experience” dining. I just wish the dude from the commercials was there, waving a spatula, yelling BIT BY HUNGER? CALL THE SPATULAW!
I haven't tried the food but the mango sweet tea was GREAT!
