We took my husband for Fathers Day. It wasn't busy when we came in, sat immediately. It took awhile to get our drink orders, then it took a bit longer to get our food orders. When the food finally arrived, we had to wait for one of the plates as it wasn't prepared. Then when we got it, we were supposed to have Ribeye but he got a chunk of prime rib; which was cold and flavorless. The kids got burgers, which were really good. We had to wait for refills, that eventually came but was after most of us had stopped eating. I was disappointed that a meal that costly right now was terribly cooked and the wait staff was overwhelmed. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
Had dinner here on 3/19/22. Burger was fantastic. Zero complaints about the food. The 25% tip that I left was essentially doubled when the charge hit my bank account. I tipped our waitress above the customary 20% even though it felt like we were imposing on her for being sat at her table on this very slow night (maybe 6 other people eating in the restaurant total). The issue I have is not even the amount of money that was fraudulently added to my final charge, but the principle of doing something like that. There is no way it could have been miskeyed either because the amount of the tip and the total that I wrote on the bill could not have just been entered as a typo because they were both drastically different numbers. Tried to call the restaurant to inform them that their employees are doing things like this but no number they have listed ever gets answered. Like I said, the food was great but the shady addition of extra money to the tip/total is not so great.It also appears that none of the reviews on here are ever even reviewed by the restaurant given there has not been a single response by them.
We tried this place again after many years. Food was good, portions are very large.Our server was nice but not very efficient. He seemed to be struggling to remember what we needed. Cleanliness is an issue. Menus were stained, and tabletop was sticky.
I've been debating on writing this review for about a week now, but I feel it needs to be written to inform anyone else going forth, I went in for lunch with my fiancé on his lunch break, with both ordered burgers like we usually do, he (cheddar burger with no veggies) mine (classic cheese burger MED RARE, with extra american cheese) what comes out is, his burger cooked correctly with veggies, easy fix, mine however came out with no cheese, or veggies, our server said "oh want me to have them melt cheese on it for you?" in the back of my mind im thinking my burger is going to come back MED WELL or even WELL, turns out i was right, comes out well done, i send it back, and wait and pray that it will come out right the second time, it doesnt it comes out completely raw, the server in the midst of everything going on cant seem to look at me or my fiancé while things are trying to be fixed, I was informed that the manager was the one that cooked my burger the second time, however we never saw or spoke to them, needless to say, i am very thankful that they serve bread and have a salad bar because I wouldve left extremely hungry, I used to love this place but now i cant imagine giving them any more of my money when no one seems to care about quality or being charged extra because im using my credit card to pay my bill

I am so glad someone left a review about the “manager” Sara. My family had a similar experience at Sid and Sams with the manager. The food is actually pretty good there usually but the last time we went my steak was way undercooked and we asked to speak to the manager. She was sitting at the bar doing paperwork and we watched her several times go behind the bar and pour herself drinks in a styrofoam cup and she put a lid and straw on it I guess to hide the fact that she was drinking alcohol while working. Our server told her we wanted to speak to her and she was extremely intoxicated when she finally came to speak to us and then was rude and treated us like we were bothering her. I will never go to this restaurant again unless they get a new manager. Until then I advise everyone to stay away! She ruined this place for my family and I. When they get new management is when we will try them again.
