Always love the food at Longhorns. Excellent steak!
Disappointing. Ate here for our anniversary. We got right in but they were short-handed. My husband ordered a ranch water and finally 30 minutes later, received a margarita. I ordered a mojito and was told they didn’t have any mint after 20 minutes. Said that was fine but never received it. Server never brought water in the meantime. Received appetizer pretty quick but couldn’t get any silverware. Waited probably 15 minutes to get utensils so we could eat appetizer. Our sides weren’t that good. Asparagus wasn’t done and salads weren’t fresh. Saving grace were the steaks. They were good. Everything else was poorly done. Would rather have stayed at home.
We arrived and we’re seated almost immediately. Wasn’t a lot of people there and tons of waitresses. Our particular waitress finally came over and took our drink order it was way over 15 mins before we got our drinks. We were a 3 top and 2 kids. She took our order when we got the drinks. We waited over an hr for our food. Our waitress came by 2 x during that whole time. she didn’t bring us enough silverware, when asked for it was ten mins later. My mom had to talk to manager before that to see where our food was as we were ready to leave. Finally our food came. Moms steak was cold, one kids steak was rare, and my sisters steak was cooked wrong. Waitress never checked on us asking g how the steaks were how anything was. We tried talking to manager about our complaints but she was awful and not helpful.There were two other tables who were waiting on menus or drinks or food.Another table they gave the wrong food to and then they took it off and gave it to another table.I’m appalled and won’t be back and will not at all send anyone their way. The food I had was good. But they say they handled things and acted is unacceptable. You can communicate that kitchen is understaffed or check on us and let us know but they didn’t.
So incredibly disappointing. The service was terrible, waited 20 minutes for margaritas with no alcohol in them. Refills were never offered. Bread was brought to the table with no utensils. Appetizers were edible almost, but cold, after waiting another 30 minutes. Not once had a server checked to see if we needed anything. Finally, after another 35 minutes our food came out, cold and so salty it couldn’t be eaten. The server had an I don’t really care attitude but did have the manager come out ( she was very apologetic and offered something else) but by then the experience was ruined. The wait time might be acceptable for a weekend dinner time, but this was Monday afternoon. And there is never an acceptable reason for poorly seasoned/ prepared cold food.
The food was lovely and the drinks were well made, the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. My only complaint is just how long it can take to get service, although for being as busy as it often is, it’s really not a big deal. I’d love to go back and try some of their other dishes!
Great service. My husband loves this place but I wish they had vegan dishes for me. But they had sides I could eat Just told them not to saute in butter and they were delicious. Very accommodating to my needs.
Worst Longhorn Steakhouse we have eaten at. Place was empty and after being told 5-10 min wait it turned into 40 minutes. Service was terrible. Couldn’t get correct drinks. Don’t know difference between sweet and unsweet. Never made the rounds to refill drinks and remove plates from table. Had to eat with a crammed table. Obviously no one knows what a medium cooked steak is supposed to look like. Two tries and 45 minutes later we received another well-done steak after speaking with waiter and manager. Worst place ever.
Great and quick service! Had the most delicious steaks and a fantastic margarita. Perfect place for a date night :) It was quiet and not crowded even though we came at prime dinnertime. Can't wait to come back
I would have given the place 5 stars had it not been for the website wait list not being on par with actual customer traffic. Other than the ridiculously long wait for our group of 7 to be seated, the food and drinks were worth the wait. The prices are reasonable, and quality is not lacking. The apps are super flavorful, the steaks are juicy and well seasoned, and the cocktails are balanced and delicious. Overall, it's a great steakhouse.
This is my favorite Longhorn location and in Odessa of all places. Been over 10 times in restaurant and to go. The food has been seasoned and cooked very well. Had one experience this week where the ranch was not in the bag for the salads. Called and the manager was so helpful, went above what I expected. Hope it stays this way!
