Food wasn't great, shrimp taste like it was frozen food not fresh took over an hour to receive because it was grilled.
So Sunday i usually go out for a steak but today decided to have oysters. Read the reviews here with mixed emotions and decided to take the risk. The risk did not pay off. Very friendly hostess and server, but I was there to eat, not make friends. I ordered the oysters and asked about the Mac and cheese, was told to avoid it. Went with green beans and fried okra. The fried okra was fried waaaay to ling, to the point you couldn't use a fork to eat them. Green beans were great!! The oysters, OMG the worst, absolutely worst seafood I've ever encountered. If you can't serve a decent dish, don't offer it on your menu. I told the server about the oysters being the worst thing ever and was told she would tell management. Telling management didn't fill my tummy nor my tummy for 30 dollars worth of garbage. I wouldn't serve that to my worst enemy. Perhaps I got their worst thing on the menu. But still, it was garbage.
Well that was very disappointing. We have been eating here since they opened and one of our favorite things was the free hush puppies that have always been served, not only do they charge for them now but they aren’t the same. The waitress told us that they were just sent the different ones which tells me they don’t make them in house, disappointing. When we checked out I mentioned to the cashier about how disappointed we were about it, she said she has passed on this same info several times, she said, “I don’t think she’s going to change it back” which tells me that they don’t really care what their customers want. So for me, I won’t be back until the free, good hush puppies are back.
Ate here a couple of weeks ago with a friend and was sad to find out that they no longer give you free hush puppies and the ones they did serve were not at all like the old ones & not good. The hush puppies are one of the reasons I come here, if I want fried fish I can get good fried fish at a lot of places closer to home. Another downside is that they charge a fee if you use a credit/debit card to pay. I won't be back.
Waited 5 minutes for seating. Only 4 tables had people sitting at them. Then it took 25 minutes to get our order. The fish was tough like it was left over from lunch. Very disappointing. Doubt we will be back.
Great service, our food was out quickly, it was delicious.
Everything was pretty decent, the only problem was the mushrooms... way over salted? but other than that, great atmosphere☺️
Once again, a kickass meal for a reasonable amount. I should've gotten pictures of my perfect catfish dinner, but I was hungry. And I'm fat, hunger outweighs pictures, not sorry.
The one star take off is just because it was short handed, but overall our server was great and we enjoyed our experience.
We got delivery, and food was not fresh. I had the charbroiled chicken and it was absolutely dry and tasteless. Very disappointing.
