We took family there for a Birthday. The two meals we ordered were beef entree at $17.99 each. Not to embarrass the Birthday girl, I decided not to case a scene. So, I immediately called the manager Simon Florence. The waiter was Luis. They would not give us a refund. Period. They could have cheerfully given a credit in our card. Will not go there again. My husband got sick from his beef.
Amazing service last night. Prompt drinks, chip refills without asking and even to go containers without asking. So rare to get that good of service, especially when it's was a packed restaurant. Food was hot, tasty, and a lot of food for the price. Margaritas we're still on happy hour pricing and tasted like they were made of fresh lime juice. A+ all around.
Good food, good service and good ambience. They have a full bar to sit and watch sports as well. Corn and flour tortillas are the rock stars here. Queso is worth the spin, too. We had the (3) beef enchiladas with enchilada sauce which is a mild spiced and mild seasoned chile con carne. It satisfied our texmex needs close to where we are staying. Being from Ft. Worth and living in SE Florida now, these were some welcomed flavors. 5 Stars for overall solid execution from start to finish. Oh, we split lunch with this plate and added a crispy beef taco a la carte. Nice sized dinner plates. Chips and salsa worked out, too. Eat here if you live in the neighborhood.
Juan was our server, and he was excellent! We received everything very quickly and Juan answered questions with a very friendly manner. We ordered the combo fajitas, and they were very good. The portions were huge. The bowl of tortilla chips was very large and there was a large mound of both steak and chicken (we actually would have preferred a few more peppers as we only had one strip of green pepper and one of red). We rarely take food home but we did here!
Food was luke warm, and it took way to long for just 1 enchilada and taco. M ust've set in the window too dang long, because it took long enough to get it to me. Taco had NO tomatoes only cheese and lettuce. Hot sauce is really bland sauce. Lousy service and I sat at bar, so its's not like the waitor couldn't see me. I won't go back!
Awesome Chips&Salsa, Beef Enchiladas delicious and good size portion. There were 9 of us and we all enjoyed?
This was the Mi Pueblo on Davis. The carnitas i ordered were delicious. The rice and beans were not as well seasoned or tasty as they were at the Hurst location. My husband was underwhelmed with the queso fundido. The staff was friendly so this place was a solid good ? we will go back to the one in Hurst going forward
I wasn't impressed. I ordered a Taco Salad. And literally got a salad in a taco with some chicken. The chips and salsa were from the grocery store not restaurant made. It's just not the usual Mexican I'm use to I guess. I didn't care for it.
While food was good, communication could be improved. We ordered from the lunch menu, but no one told us that holiday meant that lunch prices were not applicable. We ended up paying ~$2-3 more per plate than expected. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths, especially since we don't go out to eat often.Admittedly, I don't understand the logic of anyone ordering dinner-sized portions for lunch during the holidays, but I advise anyone reading this to confirm the pricing for whatever you order here for the holidays to minimize surprises
Ordered take out meals. I had chicken fajita enchiladas, which is cheese enchiladas with fajita meat on top, and covered with sauce. It was good.
