The little blonde/Purple headed girl needs a RAISE!!!!! Her headset was broke and she was out back behind L.J.S. Taking order and just as cheerful as she could be. I gave her a pen and some paper to write down all the orders and she was so grateful and she got all the cars in line orders correct. What a gem. Love the service here!!!!! 10 all the way.
Had ordered online but when I arrived at the time I was to pick up, I was informed the system wasn't working correctly and I had to repeat what I had ordered then wait as if I hadn't ordered ahead and show proof of my payment Other than that the chicken I had ordered was rushed and not fully cooked. The fish and other items were great, especially the green beans.
I think it's tragic they don't have their basket special anymore. One fish, three shrimp, two hush puppies and, either, fries, or another side. The popcorn shrimp was pretty good though.
Fried foods is my guilty pleasure on occasion. This place has been around since I was a kid, even same decor! It's time for a well deserved make over on the inside!
Not too bad. I used go here all the time when I was a kid, but it went downhill as I got older. Tried it again for the first time for a long time yesterday and it was good. It's like what I remembered. The only complaint is that it's expensive and it doesn't come with a drink.
And when I saw this I swung in there for early lunch went through the drive-thru The speaker wasn't working. And I specified that I wanted the two-piece fish with the new macaroni stuff. I got the two pieces of fish they were soggy. They left out my macaroni, and those lovely little crunchy things you get with your fish I got none! Very disappointing and expensive!
It was not fresh and they forgot 2 - 3 piece shrimp and an order of fries I had to go back for... fish was dry and disgusting. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION STAY AWAY!
Ordered carryout delivery thru doordash. Food arrived promptly, but was missing the shrimp from my variety platter. I also did not receive malt vinegar and sweet and sour sauces I ordered, but they put tartar sauce in the bag! Won't be ordering from here again. No wonder the ratings are below average.
It was good , they forgot one item and four stars for that.
Man the chicken was under cooked and the fish over cooked as were the hushpuppies. It was almost like they were leftovers or something. And on top of that they were so small! LJS used to be pretty decent, but it has been a long time since we eat there. Don't have one where we live this ones the closest and it sucked! Plus we waited until drive through for ever it seemed! Got home and NO TARTER Sauce either.
