I ate here with the family for the first time and it was a nice change from the traditional Texmex. The service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The food was good with a wide variety of options. You can get many of the items in more than one way such as torta, burrito or bowl. They also have a breakfast menu. We will be back to try some different things.
I give my rating in full honesty. This place focuses on being mainly a torta business. So I had the Cubana. The flavors of the dish were great. The fries were fresh and simple, nothing wrong there. Yet, considering they push the torta full fledged, there were some things that could have definitely been better. The bread was toasted on the outside, yet the inside was kinda soggy. It would have been better toasted on inside. As well, when it came to the cheese, avocado, sausage, and tomatoes. It was as if the $12 spent was not enough to add condiments to cover the whole sandwich, instead of partially. Hopefully this review opens the owners mind to make these few changes to give more value to the product that is produced.
This is our first time at this place, but I can say that it was great. I had the enchiladas and was surprised to see that’s a huge portion ( enough to feed 2 people!) The rest of the family had tortas and burrito. We all loved the food, even though it is kind of expensive. We’ll come back in the near future.
First of all, the food is very greasy. Secondly, It’s expensive for the quality of the food. I wouldn’t mind paying if the food was better. Some Tortas ( Mexican sandwich) don’t have ingredients such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc. So if you want to modify the torta that’s price at 12.99 you need to pay .70 for any additional ingredients. Prepare to pay 20 to 25 per person or more. Aguas frescas don’t taste like natural, they are more like artificially flavored.
I came here after a long day of work and left very satisfied. The tortas here are huge!! The ingredients they use are fresh and the aguas frescas are delicious and refreshing. I was impressed by how clean the restaurant is and by how friendly the people working here are. If you’re in the area I recommend you stop by!
Horrible not the way real MEXICANS MAKE THEM. Drying hard not moist and chewy like most Mexican restaurants that make really good tortas. We ask for extra crispy french fries didn't know they were frozen thought they hand cut them like the other Mexican restaurants and didn't like home cooked french fries where they're really really crispy very disappointed a total waste of $45. They didn't have homemade tea or we could drink it with us we were forced to drink something sweet which we don't find refreshing especially when you're a diabetic or you're trying to cut calories. I cannot understand how any restaurant Mexican or American in Texas cannot have tea homemade tea the restaurant was clean and we were super excited about driving all the way from Keller but it was absolutely a waste of time and money and who the hell puts mayonnaise on a torta
Came in for lunch with the wife and we absolutely loved this place. It was really clean and they got to me really fast. I ordered a HUGE torta milenio! I will definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for authentic Mexican food! Can't wait to try out more of the items on the menu a lot of what is served here .
Loved the food! I got their chicken Flautas. They were huge and delicious. My husband got the barbacoa torta. The meat was super tender and moist. We will definitely be returning here soon. Thank you!
