Good burgers and relatively fast service! My wife and I both ordered hamburgers l, one with french fries and the other with tater tots. Everything was good and prices are reasonable for today.7/2/2022 Still GREAT burgers and tried the onion rings today and they were awesome!
This review is based on cleanliness. Simply put, it was very bad. From the floor to the soda Island to the dirty tables and finally the restroom which had no paper towel function, dirty trash can dirty sink, stall with broken lock and no toilet paper. Busboy went around twice and failed to wipe tables and pick up trash that was on the floor. The pictures are only a fraction of what I saw. The food on the other hand what's hot and average. The fried mushrooms are actually very very good and huge. Obviously it's a lack of management when it comes to assigning tasks to sanitation and cleanliness.
Weird unexplainable tasting chili dog, possibly too much or wrong seasoning being used. There are also fried okras mixed in with tater tots… which I was not expecting. So it was gross as I bit into it… not a big fan of longhorn despite trying it multiple time with different items. I really want to like their food since it’s very convenient
The dirtiest place i have ever eaten in. It was not busy and no one was cleaning up. No less than 6 tables not cleared. Everyone standing around. Floor had so much food and discarded trash, a family of mice could eat for a month. Visible mold on the surface of the soda machines. Dirty disgusting will never never go there again. Where are the adults? Where are the inspectors?
I forgot to take a photo because we were enjoying the food and the atmosphere. I got the nachos with my beans on the side and my husband got the the chicken dinner with okra and green beans. He said the green beans were phenomenal. I’m very picky but the nachos were so good especially the meat it was flavored like tacos! We just moved to the area and will definitely be back!
Went last weekend ordered a hamburger and fries and my wife a chicken sandwich for pick up for home when I got home to eat I took a bite out of the hamburger and it was like medium rare… I’m sorry haven’t been there in a while figured I would give it another shot but no good… If you guys are out for rare burgers this is the place. Yet the worst part for me to eat I had to cook my own patty….to my liking….
If your looking for that little ma and pa old greasy spoon burgers plus, this is definitely a place to go. Skip the major chains and come here. Kids love the chicken strip and Chilli fries.
On Thursday the 20th of January 2022, my boyfriend and myself went there after I worked a 12 hour shift to grab a bite to eat. Got our food and sat down as we were eating it looked like they were getting ready to close and the next thing I know there was a commotion from the staff they were all throwing ice at each other. Some in the dining area and the others behind the counter. Wasn't happy that was going on. We could of ended up slipping on the ice if we had just walked in or didn't notice them throwing it around. Couldn't even enjoy our meal without a bunch of very unprofessional young adults causing such a disturbance.
I like the burgers here. They have flavor, but they are a bit on the salty side. Prices are reasonable. I like that they do meals now instead of larger sides. My big problem is the very uncomfortable seating and not a lot of it. On good days there is a nice patio. They also have chicken fried steak and a few other dinner plates.
Went to Longhorn Cafe tonight, 1/19/2022, to get 2 burgers.We ordered two Big, Juicy Hamburgers and tater tots.The buns were as cold as ice. There was a large mound of lettuce on each burger and pickles wadded up in the middle of the burger. No tomato was to be found. At least two handfuls of onion strips were on each burger instead. The cheese on each burger was about the size of a silver dollar in the middle of the meat.I gave a 1 rating as meat did extend to the edge of the bun.The tater tots were white, only about half way cooked.Very disappointed and most likely will not go back.
