They have a great menu, something for everyone. There are $6 appetizers Monday - Friday Specials as well as daily specials. Our party got the wings - they were huge and fantastic, mushroom Swiss burger - juicy and delicious, Philly cheese steak - very tasty, and fried pickles. Everything was very good. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with any questions. There are arcade type games, 2 pool tables, full bar. Great place for lunch or dinner.
The description of this place on-line led me to believe it was family friendly. Not the case from what I saw. I was in town with my family looking for an outdoor pet-friendly place to eat. All other places had a long wait. The menu looked good and the one pic of the outdoor area looked ok. But...First, it's in a bag location. We crossed to these train tracks that were sticking out too high for small tires. The parking lot was dust and broken asphalt with no marked spaces, looked very ghetto. When I went in to check it out, all I saw was people drinking at the bar and heard loud music. It was more a bar setting, rather than a place to take my 80 year old mother and dog for dinner. It didn't seem that anyone was going to seat or serve us either, so we left. Sounded like a good alternative to the other packed family restaurants that day. Guess not.

The waitress was very friendly and Everything was delicious, from the rib eye steak to the country fried ribeye steak. They didn’t have Dos Equis, Sol or Land Shark but they had a variety of White Claws. I am definitely going back.
We absolutely love The Hideaway New Braunfels! The steak night on Wednesdays is phenomenal!! We went in a few weeks ago when it was cold and rainy with 5 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 4-11, so the kids couldn't enjoy all the stuff outside. However, everyone loved the food, and had a great time! We are looking forward to our next visit when the kiddos can enjoy the outside entertainment and the adults can sit back and enjoy themselves even more!!

The Chicken Fried Ribeye steak was really good. I didn't care for the mashed potatoes. I ordered a starter (appetizer) . As I remember that normally comes before your meal, not after...There was a shift change. My waitress should of let me know she was leaving for the day. Didn't. I had to waived another somebody down to get my bill. . I will not go there again. If I want to spend 40 dollars including tip on myself again, it won't be there..
This place has a little of everything, like a small putting green, play set, and firepits.
Kevin is the best bartender ever . His dimples sets the mood for the bar . He is so personable and so professional and I enjoyed his service .
