My sisters and looked at reviews and menus from almost every Mexican Restaurant in New Braunfels looking for good breakfast tacos. We decided on this one based on reviews. We all had the bacon, egg, and cheese tacos. We got two each. They were bigger than we thought, and all had trouble eating all of them. They were delicious, plentiful and the service was very good. I rarely like bacon and egg tacos because the bacon is often not cooked well but I liked that it appeared to be fried then mixed with the egg. It is more than reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend their breakfast tacos. The other items on the menu look every good as well,
Worst food ever!! First of all the nachos had chicken fajita which was not cooked and neither was cheese. The tacos were bland and dry, not to mention wrong. If I was you I would never order here ever they scans you with nice pics then screw you over as far as your food. It was so bad I didn’t even feed it to my dogs. Please do better!!
It was great ordering my food and then proceed to watch the four customers who ordered after me get their food first. I stood up and they looked at me and then ran over to grab my bag, to which I asked if it had just been sitting there, and she replied “yes” abruptly and walked off. Glad I left a 50% tip. Food is as salty as the service, but they have their customer base apparently so all moot I suppose. Just FYI for newcomers
The food was amazing and the service was fast! I got some super delicious tacos and my uncle got a parrillada. We ordered queso dip for the chips and a quesadilla for my baby. There are high chairs for babies/toddlers and there is a baby changing station in the rest room.I recommend and would definitely return!
I was going to leave a good review but we realized when we got home that we were overcharged. I called back to ask them to please explain the ticket because I’m confused on how one $11 plate, $4 worth of sides, one $3 taco, one sweet tea, shredded cheese on the side and two extra flour tortillas.. came out to almost $29. She would absolutely NOT tell me how much each thing on my ticket cost. She confirmed that she has our ticket in front of her. She just kept insisting we drive back to the restaurant so she can explain in person. I told her we cannot do that. I just kept calmly asking for her to please tell me what we were charged for each item. She just KEPT REPEATING THAT SHE HAS THE TICKET THERE FOR US. She did everything in her power to skirt around my question. It was infuriating.I’ve been taken advantage of. I was really hoping to go back here but I won’t be seen as an easy target.The food was good. The waitress was kind. I believe the person I spoke to over the phone was not our waitress. I feel disgusted.
It was my first time eating there the hot sauce was very good the chips were better didn't break when I dipped them in the hot sauce. The mini tacos were tasty and fresh, the charro beans broth had good flavor but too much winners or sausage in the beans. And could've done without the bell peppers they didn't add anything to them. The refried beans had good texture and flavor Lastly the chicken fajitas flavor were just shy being present
Walked in the door at 9:10 when they closed at 10, I get it I’ve worked in restaurants before, but that’s still almost an hour, not like we walked in 10 min before close.That’s how we were greeted, saying “we close at 10”Then the bus boy rolled his eyes so we already didn’t feel very welcome.Then I suppose they were cleaning the grill off or burners or something and it made the smell unbearable. We were breathing it in and it was miserable. The entire place was coughing, even a few people had to get up and leave, that’s how bad it wasSo the entire meal was composed off us coughing our lungs out, made it very hard to enjoyThe only reason I am giving it 2 stars is the food was actually good, that’s the only positive thing.Overall experience was simply not good.
The food didn't taste that great and I ordered chalupas. I could've made it better than what I was served.
Letti and Natalie are the best waitresses in that restaurant to include all of New Braunfels and most definitely deserve a raise...
You almost hate giving a good review to a restaurant because everyone will start coming. However, the food is too good not to share. When you order a 'to-go' taco plate the shells are wrapped separately from every thing else. That shows an extra level of service that you don't get elsewhere. Tell everyone about this family run place. You'll be glad that you did.
