If you haven't been here in a while, then you need to go. I came here a few times years ago, and was unimpressed. I mean, it was ok, but only just ok.Something changed, because the donuts are amazing now. Even just the plain glazed are fantastic now. Staff is very friendly, too.5 year edit!Still my favorite donut place in town.
So Disappointed! I have a small addiction to apple fritters, and patronize the Shipley's in Waco more then I want to admit. I feel comfortable in my knowledge of what an apple fritter is and what to expect. The apple fritters here are a sham and frankly disgusting! It is a jelly donut type with apple pie filling, and less then half the size of the ones I get in Waco and other places. I was borderline furious when I bit into it and cold pie filling squirted out the other side. It took all my strength not to go back inside and question the insight of what monster thought this was a good idea. Never again!
Always friendly staff with a great selection of our favorite donuts. Clearly a slam dunken home run.
Was the first time I tried this place, thanx to a buddy of mine. Fresh and hot Colachis and donuts. Really hit the spot that early morning.

Used to be the best. Recently the order is always wrong. I've never asked for jalapeno, but it always seems to be in the bag..

Used to be my favorite place to get donut holes up until today when I saw a roach if they are visible up front I can imagine what it's like in the back! Lost my business!
