Seen so many great Texas bands here I think this place should be a Texas icon. One of those Native Texan hidden gems
Nice place to stop and relax. Hit it at right time. 2 pounds of crayfish for 12 bucks. Score!!
Excellent open air venue with unique hillside seating. Sound was pretty good, bar prices were fair. Staff was kind and helpful. Some snafus on the night we were there (ladies rooms, some pre-show power issues that pushed the start time back). 15/10, will return.
I bet I've driven by River Road Ice House a hundred times and never stopped in. Went by this weekend for some crawdads. Best damn boiled crawfish I have ever had in New Braunfels. I'll probably hit them up a couple more times this crawfish season. On top of that the folks there are friendly and the bar just has that comfortable worn in feel to it. Beer was cold too. The crawfish alone is worth 5 stars!

First time visiting this place. Came in to see one of my favorite bands (Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers), and had the absolute best time.
Great place. Everyone is so much fun. Can't wait to go back.
Way larger venue than I expected. Benefit was awesome, had a great experience for a great cause.
