It was on a Wednesday morning, and we were there just after they opened. We got our water and coffee, and gave the waitress our orders. It took a full hour after we ordered our food to have it brought to the table. The fried potatoes were raw, and were returned to be cooked. The other three people in the party could not eat their food because it didn't taste good. Several people left (about 5 tables of customers) while we were there waiting on our food.
Extremely disappointed in this location, we came in to celebrate a birthday with a party of ten we were put on the waiting list told it was a 10-20 minute wait, waited 17 minutes, received our text that our table was ready at 6:56 was inside by 6:58 and was told they sat someone else at our table thinking they were our party and that we had to get back on the waiting list, we ended up waiting 45 minutes in total before we got sat down, while in the waiting section the women pictured (the women who gave our table away) greeted everyone & told them thank you have a good night when leaving, she was making upset faces at us because she gave our table away while we were waiting of course we didn’t get a thank you have a good night while exiting as everyone else. Definitely choose to go to a different location
Love Olive Garden. Great service and food! Price is a bit high but worth the awesome salad, breadsticks and soup! Raviolis are my favorite although all of there food is delicious.
After trying to eat at two other places but they were closed we went to my favorite place to eat, yes Olive Garden and at first the service was going good but we ate our soup / salad and drank all our drinks and sat a long time before we got a refill. Our order seemed to take longer than others who arrived after we did m, but we eventually got our food. Dinner was good and I ate what I wanted to nothing else to review about. Thank You!
We were sat just over half an hour before close and our original server deedee was very unwelcoming and rude. Asked us very shortly where the rest of our party was and what we “wanted to drink”. She ended uppassing our table to another server, who’s name I didn’t catch, because she wanted to leave. She never came to let us know she wouldn’t be taking care of us going forward, or anything along those lines. Overall she was just very unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable for being there at that time, even though we ordered once we sat down and were out of the building by 7 minutes after close. The server that ended up taking care of us was very sweet, the service was amazing. She was attentive and didn’t rush us at all.
Yesterday was our Son's Birthday and he wanted Olive Garden. So we went to Olive Garden in New Braunfels after a day playing at a local bounce place. So, two six year olds, a ten year old and two adults walk into OG at 615pm. We wait maybe ten minutes and they call us to be seated and I'm thinking this is great! So we are seated at table 304 and with three children who are hungry after an afternoon of playing hard. 45 mins goes by and we flag down an employee and explain that we have been seated for 45 minutes and have yet to see a server, no drinks not even a hello. I explain that we have three children and they are pretty hungry, she says she will check and leaves. Now it has been almost an hour and so I get up and walk to the kiosk where several employees were standing and I ask for the manager and then begin to air my grievances. Having said what I felt needed to be said as politely as possible, I return to the table with the intention of leaving. The manager walks up then and asks us to giver her a chance to make it right. I want to be absoluitely clear.... If our six year old son didn't look at me and say please, we would not have stayed. So we stayed and as the manager was talking to us a server from across the restaurant comes over and very politely takes our entire order. (I wish I had gotten her name but I didn't.) The manager and this server then proceed to tag team the table and made my son's night with his brownie lasagna and a candle. This review would have 1 star if it wasn't for the manager and server whom went out of her way to make sure we got our food and drinks even though she was taking care of a section far away. The manager comped the deserts and gave us a gift card. The waitress got a fifty dollar tip for her service. As a Post Script, I would like to add that the devices at the tables are pretty useless. You can only order featured items, kids menu items and a selection of 5 drinks other than alcohol. Why isn't the full menu available on these?
Food was OK. But overpriced. I'm giving 4 stars as I think the pricing us a result of supply chain issues, so it's getting a pass, instead of 3 stars for the food-quality to cost ratio. The curbside team were very friendly.
Good food. Not so great service. I believe those self pay kiosks has one guy thinking he's off the clock once the food is served. Plus he never brought me my soup. The salad was meant for two, so not such a big deal. I've been there another time with a better waitress but then the darn kiosk didn't work. Get rid of the kiosks and five stars may be in your future olive garden. My compliments to the chef though! Your good food is what keeps me coming back for more.
The food is good but the bread sticks in my opinion need some work to improve the taste of the bread. Seems the dough they are made from could be softer. I always feel I have to grab the bread and take a bite and rip it apart to chew it. Seems the dough is little on the tough side.
I left a review re: an experience of a recent long wait for curbside pickup and missing soups upon arrival home. I need to make sure that I include the positive pieces of my experiences at this establishment because they far outweigh this one frustrating experience. My family and I often go in for celebrations in big groups and the service is always great! We enjoy our favorite dishes each time. I know everyone who is working right now is doing their best to make it just like the rest of us. During COVID THIS OG was a life saver many times with the curbside pickup option and good service each time. I even ordered huge family meals during COVID for other families experiencing tough times and/or losses and these were prepped and delivered timely! We love our OG and I want the current manager to know that I appreciate her kind and caring response to my concerns this week. We are always down with the NB OG!
