Best kept breakfast secret in New Braunfels.Gotta be in early for work at 6 am and need a big breakfast?Since they open at 4 a.m., I called in my order on the road so when i got there at 5 am, my usual breakfast tacos with coffee were ready. My favorites are tacos but they list a wide, variety of tasty entrees on their menu. Their beautiful staff are always friendly, quick, and attentive. With lots of regulars and returning satisfied customers, the quaint and clean eatery is full of neighborly conversations, laughter, and in just a few minutes after their order, there are topped-off tummies ready for their full-day of hard work.Though I now live in SA, I still have family I gotta visit in NB on a frequent basis.Just as frequently, I treat myself to my favorite Mexican/Salvadorean restaurant, El Monterrey Cafe.
$ Pretty Darn Good!! So glad we finally tried this place. So much to pick from on the menu... It's so hard to find good rice and beans in a combo. Aguas were on point... Will be back to try more plates. Oh, service was friendly and attentive too. TY????
Very good ranchero eggs served with your choice of bbq meat, bacon, sausage and gusaida beef with gravy.Friendly staff service.
Nothing fancy here but the food is excellent! I will stop here every time I pass through town.
Excellent location, amazing food! Some what of a wait but it is extremely worth it !!! Can't beat prices either.
The carne guisada plate very delicious, cheese and jalapeño tamal amazing, the service was great and fast??

Food was excellent! Big portions, good price and quick service. I'll definitely be back!
I ordered Chicken Mole and a Mexican Pork Tamal. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sides were yummy. The mole sauce, unfortunately, was extra salty, and the tamal was super dry.The Fresh Pineapple Juice was delicious to ibreally enjoyed that.Sweet ladies though.
