We drove all the way from New Mexico to eat at Mod Pizza and visit Buc-ee's. We were so excited, however we upon entering order area glass was so dirty, and had a weird odor. The restaurant was not clean, needed some attention to detail, the women's bathroom was very dirty. Even with the not as clean as I had hoped, the food was amazing as always!
First time to try MOD. Cheese extremely skimpy, sauce nonexistent. Ordered with sausage and Canadian bacon and it came with neither of those ingredients on it, and the croft was quite tough. Got cheese pizza for the twin five year olds, and they each barely ate a half a slice. Asked if they could go to another location for something different.First impressions are lasting, and that will be our last time there.

Pizza was good. Ingredients seem fresh and well selected. Greek Caesars was disappointing bc of marinated peppers (too sweet). Overall, it was good and would go back.
Great concept friendly staff, price was good. All pizzas $ 12. Plus everyone gets their own hand pizza made. You choose your toppings. like the subway to the pizza. All around it's a different New trend. The only problem I had was with the guy who took the pizza out of The Brick Oven and gave us our pizza, he absolutely refused to put any cheese on our pizza. No matter how we asked. That seemed a bit odd. The place is clean. It's in a place it should do well. Easy to find, shopping strip next to HEB over by target in new Braunfels.
We always enjoy MOD Pizza! Always has wonderful service, fabulous food & clean facilities. We will continue to go back & will always highly recommend to everyone we know!
Have come here a few times and the staff has always been great! I took a pizza home and then realized it had the wrong ingredients, so I brought it back. They were very apologetic, let me keep the old pizza, remade a new one, gave me a free dessert cake AND a card for a free pizza next time. They really went above and beyond to make it right. Of course, their food is consistently good too. I will definitely keep coming back!
The cons outweighed the pros. Pro: food was fantastic and tasted exactly how a mod pizza should. Con: bathroom door didn't latch shut so felt exposed. The toilet was unstable. The food was all messy looking, meaning the pepperoni had cheese in it and some of the other food items were mixed around. For going in at 2pm on a Monday with only 4 other customers it was dsappointing. If I had an option of eating here or driving 30 minutes to kyle to eat there. I would choose kyle.
