Laid back, friendly group, restaurant and beer, River floating fun. There were so many tube rental places and this is the one we chose. We enjoyed our time and pricing was great. We hit this float up as soon as we got into town. Will return again for the Guadalupe River float.
Grilling, beer, frozen margaritas, tubing, hanging out on the shore of the River, see live bands on Sundays.The grill closes at 8, the tubing cut off times are at 3pm, and 5pm. Call ahead for food if you want!Not many locations on River road stay open that late. ? They also, have an extra parking lot for over flow parking.
Float House is THE SPOT on River Road. Doesn't matter what you order - be prepared to wait. This ain't fast food. It's made with love. Crack a cold beverage, enjoy your company and the scenery. This place is as "river rat" as it gets. Come hungry, chill and enjoy the mellow atmosphere. You won't be disappointed, and they'll always do what they can to make it right if something is off. ?
The staff was friendly and accommodating, we just floated the river. We didn’t eat but the burgers looked awesome. The reason why I’m giving 3 stars has nothing to do with this establishment.The river is so low it is treacherous and grueling. It is not for the faint of heart both mentally and physically. Be advised! During the safety briefing they only asked if we could swim but they should have mentioned it is very physically demanding. Please proceed with caution.
Best flavored burger I’ve had. Can’t wait to go back. Love their sweet potato fries as well. My only caveat was the drink station. There were lots of bees buzzing around the spouts and a few around the tables. My 8 yr old couldn’t enjoy his food because of the bees. But not sure what can be done bout bees in a patio and open door setting.
Very disappointed, especially with all of the positive reviews. we ordered a patty melt, cheeseburger, fried pickles and cheesy fries. Patty melt was good. My burger. .. the meat itself was good, but chopped together and in several pieces. my problem is the several day old bun that was hard and pretty much awful that they could have made better and the fries were not even cooked through. hard and cold in the middle. couldn't eat them.
Best place to rent a tube to float the Guadalupe. Outstanding burger joint when you’re done. $1 Lone Stars!!!!
Really nice place to hangout by the river. Has benches and tables in the water where you can sit, cool off and relax. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Considering we were lost, I wasn't a upset at all that we ended up here. Better than what we had planned for sure ☺️
Cheeseburger with bacon and fries with cheese and a few corona’s hit the spot. Great atmosphere and good view of the River. Go if you can and enjoy.
