Dinner for two on a Friday night after search yelp and google for good shrimp/fish tacos. This place had some pretty great reviews. I had the fajitas, which were good, but my husband had the shrimp tacos and they were not good at all . Food was all lukewarm at best. Beer was hot. Overall, not a great experience. Wouldn’t recommend.
I have given this place SO many chances to do good, but unfortunately I am tossing in the towel. And before anyone says pandemic, they were having major problems prior. Ordered $200 worth of food for a family dinner, picked it up and drove home 45 min. All of the food was fajitas. Guess what, no tortillas! That's just 1 instance. There are 7 more since then and unfortunately from overdone chicken to a meal that took almost an hour to be delivered, telling me they are out of part of my food when they deliver my food to the table, and everything in between, i won't be returning. Too many good Mexican food places around to keep touching the hot stove!

They have the best fajitas in New Braunfels hands down. Staff was also super sweet as well. Service was quick too. Will definitely come back.
The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars is because the salsa deserves 5 stars the salsa is the only good thing. My meal was small for the amount of money and it came out room temp like it had been sitting in the back for hours. I’m not sure if I got unlucky here because they have decent reviews but I will not go back. Also there was only 2 other tables full so I’m not sure why my food wasn’t warm.
Before Covid, we would bring all of our family and friends here to enjoy the best food in town. Unfortunately since Covid, this places has gone downhill especially with what used to be my favorite dish Carne Asada. The menu states Akaushi beef and it is not even close to the most tender steak I used to have at this restaurant. I will take our business elsewhere and continue my search for excellent carne asada

Great food, great service, lots of choices, clean, salsa was different &delicious and chips were fresh. Our server was the son of the owner and he was so attentive and cool. There’s a lot of regulars that come here so it’s has a family vibe, which is what I like. Me and my husband will be back anytime when are in New BRAUNFELS!
Some of the best Mexican food we’ve had! Delicious! Wish the restaurant itself was a little bigger, and the to go/pick up order wait times weren’t hugely influenced by dine in traffic. Staff is friendly and attentive.Don’t love their to go margarita policy. You can drink as many as you want there, no questions except do you want another? But if you’ve had one, you can’t take one to go (as an unopened container). Hmm?Everything we’ve had here is very good though.
