I visited on a busy Saturday evening, and there was a 25 minute or so wait. The waitstaff scurried around in a rush, but were friendly. Although the menu has lots of food choices, I found the prices a little high. Evidently, not all the customers were bothered by the prices. I ordered a cheese enchilada dinner, and it was delicious. The enchiladas were very cheesy, the refried beans were topped with cheese, and the cilantro lime rice was yummy. I took my time eating and never felt rushed in spite of the fast pace otherwise. I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a new place to try!
Great staff, service and atmosphere
This is truly a gem! The menu was unique and the flavors were beyond exceptional!
Very busy but was able to seat our family of 6. Loud enough inside to not have to worry about a child making noise. Food was good and service was excellent!!!!
We eat dinner at La Cosecha every Tuesday evening. It’s always a great experience. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable about menu. The food is excellent. We highly recommend it.
Came during lunch. Lunch menu size chicken fajitas and red snapper tacos. 2 waters with brisket queso dip = $51.The red snapper tacos were a delight. They were soft on the outside with a crunch from the fried snapper and a burst of lively flavor from the additions on the plate. The sauce was light and warm but not in the sense of heat. More in the sense of home. The chicken fajitas were good but fajitas are a hard sell for me always. The tortilla was not greasy and cooked well. There was a butter sauce which I would say to use sparingly as the butter flavor was overpowering to the creamy taste of the sauce. The fajitas were great just on their own merit.Who doesn’t love queso. The brisket queso was warm and meaty with what I’m assuming was pickled onions? And peppers. It was amazing.Well worth the stop. I’d like to come back just to taste more dishes. Also the bathroom is amazingly clean
Visiting from Japan I stopped randomly because I had seen it from the freeway. What a wonderful experience! Best service, lovely decor and ambience; not to mention that the food was beyond compare. The chef has elevated every element of the meal to the next level. Even the Salsa was ricisimo and homemade with burnt chilis and spices; like home made! I wish that I lived there and go back whenever I was craving great food. Food was so good that I even asked to speak with the Manager and complement her and the staff.
Food was great but way overpriced. I really love the moody vibe. It’s a really pretty restaurant. I ordered the shrimp and steak fajitas a 1/2 order and was charged for the full order. I didn’t realize til after I left. Also didn’t like that happy hour was only served in the bar and patio. I always think it’s lame when restaurants do that.
The only bad thing about this restaurant is that there is only one location. If this restaurant came to Houston, it would give the other Mexican restaurants a serious run for their money. So, right off the bat the chips are unlike any chip I've ever had, they melt in your mouth. I realize that's an unusual way to describe a tortilla chip, but it's true. So light, airy and crispy, they taste so fresh and amazing even without salsa. However, the salsa is equally fantastic! The heat is there, but you still taste the flavor...just the way it should be. The beef enchiladas, grilled Taco, cilantro rice and refried beans are all so fresh tasting and none of it is bogged down with seasonings. I appreciate that they rely on the natural flavoring from the onions and peppers to provide a wonderfully clean taste. The sopapilas have a light weight, but also manage to provide lovely taste and substance with each bite. The presentation is picture worthy. Truly! This is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! I sincerely hope they expand their business, more people need to have to this delightfully scrumptious experience.
By far the best Mexican food I have had in Texas. The steak is so good.
