Certainly not the same great service from years gone by. Went in around 5pm last Sunday. Maybe two tables occupied and no one in line. Should be a good experience since they had about ten employees mulling around. The young cashier apparently did not know the menu and managed to add extras to the soup without letting us know there was an up charge. Perhaps its worth it but our much delayed food did not include the extras. We sat on the opposite corner of the room. Meanwhile the restaurant started getting additional customers, so John, the unmasked, unshaven manager started shouting commands to his staff clearly heard throughout the restaurant. You could tell by the look on most of the employees they did not appreciate it. Sounded like we were in some busy dive in New Jersey. Later, the tattooed, unshaven, no mask manager was delivering orders all around us to tables that arrived after us. After waiting twenty minutes for our order and intently watching the deli line, the manager figured out we were still waiting. Screaming at the employees he asked where was #82 in a loud and disturbing way. One guy responds loudly that he does not have some ingredient. The manager goes to the back kitchen and ten minutes later another employee brings our order. Apparently the manager did not want to chance talking to us. The food was decent; the service and atmosphere was not. No, the extra cost add ons were not present; maybe that was the delay and the manager just bailed.

Paid over $11 for a sandwich meal. Didn't get the correct chips, tea tasted burned or old, sandwich was prepared nicely but toothpicks that held it together were hidden, (guess how I found them), on top of a 20 min wait during my Lunch break. Only 2 people ahead of me but, someone who was behind me got their order first ordering at the same spot! I gave 2 stars for the taste of the tiny sandwich, I think I'll stick to Schlotzskys from now on.

I order something simple off the menu and did not edit anything. They were not busy and my order took 20 minutes for to go. A customer who order after me and for dine in was done in 10 minutes. I will not be returning due to a manager asked what was the name on the order and did not follow up. The cashier who took my order was the one who made it. I counted 6 employees walking around so I see careless leadership and ineffective management.Edit: 5/24/2022I tried calling the number you provided and both times no one answered. I think I made the right decision to not come back.

I really like Jason's Deli but on this visit I could tell that quality was no longer a value for this restaurant. I ordered a California Sandwich and a Broccoli and Cheese soup. The sandwich was nothing special but the soup was served at room temperature at best. Who doesn't serve at least warm soup? I was really disappointed and probably will not visit the restaurant again in the future. There are so many good restaurants in the New Braunfels area that actually serve hot food.

Good food. Good service and plenty of help on the floor if you need something. We only wish the tables were cleaned better. Ty for a welcoming experience!

Do not under any circumstances spend your money on the Mac n cheese. It is a boxed mix and not worth it.

My sandwich with aus jus was unedible. The aus was flavorless. Sandwich was cold. Huge waste of $

So... I can't say enough good things about this location. We had a crew doing training at the river and we accidentally placed a big order in San Marcos. The manager here, Ana, saved the day for us. She was able to find the order, and recreate it here very quickly. As I waited, I watched the rest of their team helping customers. I have not seen this level of customer service in quite a while. Well done, and kudos to this team. Huge thank you!!!

Jason's Deli was GREAT to work with! We ordered 90+ assorted sandwiches AND moved up our pickup time and they came through like Champs! They even helped me to load them into my vehicle. I would cheerfully deal with them again!

First time at Jason Deli and had a great experience. After long road trip I stopped to grab a quick bite over the weekend. A young employee named Kass was very helpful and welcoming.definitely will be coming back on my next road trip.
