I know people say Jack in the Box sells crummy food, but I absolutely love the taste of pretty much everything they sell. This Jack in the Box shut down for a very long time, and I'll tell you many people in town were waiting for it to reopen. You realize you miss a restaurant when they shut down and you can't order their food anymore. You can expect a long drive through line here sometimes, but most good restaurants have long lines. I think your typical experience at Jack In The Box will be the same at this location, but I personally am very happy that they are open again.
We came at 12:30 am, expectations not high because it was late, but they went all the way with our order. The fries were amazing, the patty melt was good (bread was a little cool but thats just something tiny.) The jalapeno poppers were amazing. Hell yeah, yall did amazing. To anyone that reads this, give them a shot.
Waited forever for disgusting, cold fries with no salt and tasted freezer burned. The burger had no salt either and wasn't very good. Also most drinks were out on the soda fountain. I will never be back!
1st time back since JIB reopened and your staff was super friendly. Ordered two sour dough ckn, curly fries and two tacos. Both me and my friend were blown away at the quality of the food. It was quick and the food was very fresh and hot. Again cool and friendly staff lunch shift 2.18.22
Came into the drive through at 10:50pm on 03/06/2021 there was no answer at the drive through menu at all, when pulling up to the window saw no one in the store but saw keys hanging near the fry or hot food area pulled to the store front and haven’t seen any workers or any thing. Very disappointing to have this kind of service in new braunfels
The four stars are for the friendly voice in drive thru and the very busy kid at the drive up window...super busy but super friendly......i got 4 reg tacos...they seemed like they had been sitting a long time then reheated.....the edges of the shells were so hard i had to break them off and just eat the middle section.....and they werent crispy crunchy hot either....but i was on the road and didn't go return them....so disappointed...wont stop at that one again.....i drive thru NB often...will try elsewhere.
They closed early randomly, (10pm instead of 2am) but left their Mobile Orders Online. I placed an order, but they are clearly closed. They have a chair blocking the drive thru and no one is here. how do we get our money back?
I guess 1:30 a.m. is the new 2:00 a.m.On the website it says they close at 2:00 a.m. and when I arrived at 1:30 they were already shutting down and I was told I could not order by one of the staff members standing in the Drive-Thru window and waving his hand in front of his throat as to tell me they were no longer serving food. All the drive-thru lights were on and the inside lights were on as if they were still open. If you close at 1:30 you should post your hours as such. I can't say I've ever had a really good experience at this particular Jack in the box, usually every time I come here they get my order wrong. I most definitely will not consider coming back to this particular location
Love the food, happy they're open again. Understandable due to the pandemic being short handed but they are always busy. Too busy for just 2 employees to be working as they are overwhelmed and it shows when they have to close early due to no cook or help.
I went to this location a couple weeks ago late in the evening and the line was quite long and not really moving. After about 15 mins and cars starting to leave I called the location to make sure they were still open but no answer. On the website it read open 24 hrs so i decided to stay waiting. When we finally got to the ordering window I was told that they were closed and that the car in front of me was their last order for the night. I explained to the guy that I had been waiting patiently in the line for over 20 mins, including two cars behind me. I explained to the guy that I even tried calling to confirm their closing time and no answer. He immediately apologized and said that they were short staffed but that he would take care of us. Even though the line and wait was not a great experience, the fact that this guy wanted to make things right for the customer was amazing and well appreciated. When we got to the window I thought for a second that we were gonna be treated rudely for making them stay behind but it was the absolute opposite. We were greeted with big smiles and a wonderful attitude. Jack in the box you need more Xavier and Sam’s, exceptional workers! Thank you Xavier and Sam!!!!
