I've always had a great experience coming to Iron Horse Grill however, today was the last time I'll visit the establishment. Under new ownership and you can only buy bottled beverages, tea, or your choice of adult beverage. The menu as significantly changed as well. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. The burgers were not hot and were the sloppiest things we've been served in a long time. The onion rings were burnt and cooked in oil that had long needed to be changed. The fries were no better. I don't know what new management is doing, but if this is what their new product is, good luck.
Excellent burger. We had the bacon blue burger and it was very good. Well done bacon, blue cheese and a tasty burger on a good bun with nice condiments. They also have a nice outdoor seating area with a playground for the kiddos. The adults enjoyed the time that the kids were playing on the playground. Looking forward to going back again soon and trying another of the burgers or chicken sandwiches that they offer.
Came here last week.. Haven't been here in like 3 years.. Chicken Fried Steak and the gravy sooo Good!! Definitely recommend!! best one Ive had in awhile.
Spent 40 dollars on two burgers and some fries and one drink , all to hear some annoying white kid (in the kitchen)sing along to some annoying rap music (from the kitchen) while saying the N word . Never again will I come here . To top it off the sweet potato fries were burnt and all the little boys cooking complained,Burger sucked also. 8:20pm 1/3/22
This place is everything I’ve been looking for. Outdoor seating, a playground, not overly expensive, friendly staff, AMAZING food. Look, they got my order wrong and I’m still giving them 5 stars. It was THAT good. And no wait for a table on a busy Friday night when most places had lines out the door. Love it, and will be back!
I eat here once or twice a quarter. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The back yard has a playground for the kids and a big TV in a covered, wooden deck, patio.
Probably the best burgers we've had in New Braunfels. Large order of rings was outstanding, too.
Extra large portions! We shared our pictured meal. Queso burger with loaded fries. Parking can be tight, limited seating inside but they have bar seating. Self serve tea/soda. No masks required!
Great little place to eat. Very small inside with outdoor seating and playground. I came for lunch and ordered the chicken fried steak. This was definitely one of the best I’ve had in a long long time. Breading was great. Gravy wasn’t over seasoned. The steak itself was cooked perfectly. And it was only 12 bucks!! I highly recommend the chicken fried steak from here.
Very good food and fast service. Not very good customer service though. I got the chicken fried steak and it had too much batter liking and the portion is small for the price. He got the Boss Burger and it was huge! He said it was the best burger he has had in awhile and that is saying something.
