We stopped by on our way back from the river, there was a bit of a line at the drive thru but we didn’t mind the wait. We had never been so we were pretty excited to try it out. We had the double bacon steak cheeseburger, fries are really thin but had good seasoning! Wife tried the Chili cheese fries but she said it needed more flavor. We also ordered the chocolate Brownie delight concretes, SO good. Tried also the PBC & B, peanut butter and banana concrete which was also so good. Lady at the window was very nice.
As good as fast food gets. They are suffering from a staff shortage like everyone else but with a little patience you'll leave happy.Enjoy.
The past 4 times I have tried to go to the Freddy’s New Braunfels location they have been closed. Gone at 8:45pm and the hours on Google and Apple Maps both say 10pm. Cones in the drive through, lights off, chairs up inside. What’re the correct hours here? Update them online please if they are not correct.
We arrived at 7:40, were third in line inside, and stood in line until 7:54. We got to the register and were told we could only order carry out now because it was almost 8. I’ve never been forced to stand in line for 15 minutes and then told we could only order carry out because it was 6 minutes before they stopped serving dine in. I’m usually very understanding because I worked in the service industry, but that was unacceptable. We turned around, left, and we will never go back. Also, while standing in line, I watched the guy on the flat top drop the spatula on the floor, pick it up and put it right back to work as if nothing happened.
Worst location I’ve been to. They ALWAYS screw up my order. I get a #2 plain and I make it a single patti instead of the double. Never comes out right. Only location that the pattti comes out wet and gross. This last time I didn’t even go back and complain because what are they gunna do? Serve me another inedible burger? Theyd probably end up making it twice as hastily as they did the first time anyway.
Twice we have come and are in the drive-through line before 8 o’clock and a 16-year-old kid comes out and tells us they’re no longer serving and they’re shut down. I don’t know who owns this restaurant but if it were mine I will continue to serve people that are in line waiting for my product.
Your employee Kaija was extremely rude and told me to "hold on" three times when I requested to have my last part of my order filled(sundae). When there was no line, she was far more interested in restocking the fry sauce that was already 3/4 full than to serve me. When a line did start, she refused to even acknowledge me at the counter. Very poor performance, task and time management. The other employee that came in however, she was VERY prompt and helpful, though i didn't catch her name. As a veteran, I'm very disappointed that this is how people are treated nowadays.
I had to repeat my order several times and wait for over 45 minutes in line, then another 10 at the window. The cashier repeated my order at the window and got it wrong. When I corrected her, she replied “that’s what I meant,” then took my card and handed me the food. The order was entirely wrong, even after repeating it to her. I got home and was disappointed to see that nothing was right, but ate it anyways. The food was cold and the burger bun was hard like it had been sitting out for almost an hour. My drink had no ice left even though it only takes me around 5 minutes to get home from this location. Do not come here in the late afternoon, the staff is awful and the line is long and slow.
Meals were excellent and husband enjoyed his 4 patty monster burger. Drive thru girl was very friendly and adored my dog.
My sister and I visited this location on 2/20 and there was a situation with an irrational and irate customer that the staff handled incredibly well. I was impressed by the management and their quick actions to call the police and handle everything, even though there was only three of them. I wish there were up-to-date signage on the door pertaining to hours but otherwise I enjoy my experience at this location. I was not able to see the name of the three girls on staff but I believe they deserve some recognition.
