New management got rid of happy hour and happy patrons! Used to love to come here for happy hour, not anymore.

Kinda Sad, menu change, Faust removed a couple of our favorites. Service was really bad, I feel that servERS didn’t know what they were supposed to be doing. Our server said all servers were supposed to be helping her, but they didn’t until it came time for our check, then everyone was ready to get rid of us, no over of dessert or coffee after our meal. Bartender should not be responsible for waiting on dining customers as well as bar top customers at the same time. I love the food quality and portion size, but service was clearly lacking communication during this trip.

This is one of those restaurants I wish were closer to my home in Indiana... I would go there all the time. It's a basic bistro/gastropub menu but with several innovative interesting international twists. The German "nachos" are outstanding. Salads are plentiful, and they know how to make a good gumbo. The Croque Madame is one of the best I have ever eaten, and I used to live in France (something about Texas toast really boosts this traditional French comfort food). Friends of mine love the French Dip, and the house beer selection is excellent (I recommend the ESB). Restaurant is always clean and service is polite and professional -- just a bit understaffed these days as is common most places. My favorite comfort food in New Braunfels, I will never visit that town without visiting the Faust at least once, likely more.

Delicious, fresh beer! What really amazed me was they don't price gouge you $6-7 a beer like most other breweries. It was $2.50 for draft and $9 for a 6-pack carryout. I certainly will be back!

Great German beer and food. The Faust beer bead was wonderful. A must have is the beer cheese soup loaded. Great service too.

My sister and I are in town for a couple of days to relax. We always like to sample local restaurants when traveling and she picked this place because she loves craft beer. I loved the charm of the old hotel lobby and restaurant. We did have a short wait once seated due to a larger party paying their tab. Staff came by and apologized multiple times for the wait and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. We asked for food recommendations and we ordered chips and salsa, a club sandwich, tacos, and a craft beer flight. Everything we had was excellent. The portions were large and pricing was moderate. We highly recommend. A hidden little gem that we will definitely visit again!

Great food and beer! We always stop by when in New Braunfels.

We have gone to this historic setting in New Braunfels for a few years now. Service is always excellent and the restaurant manager is attentive to every table, no matter how busy it is. Very good people person with customer satisfaction and skill.

Nice brewery and restaurant, we just had beer. Big place, lots of seating. Free and ample parking in rear. Easy to find.

What a cool, cute brewery!! Willie is awesome.
