We got the whole chicken dinner and it was well prepared. Juicy and flavorful. The sauces were excellent and the sides were good, too. The dine-in experience is OK, and I can see why most customers opted for drive-through. We will too next time.
My husband and I were looking for authentic Nachos after a two week vacation out of state. We found this little gem. The food was amazing. I ordered nachos and the serving was more than generous. Chips were homemade and the asada meat was nothing short of excellent. My husband ordered the asada tacos, and was not disappointed. We will definitely be back.
One of the staple “I don’t feel like cooking tonight”. Chicken is delicious. Whole chicken meal with all the fixings, rice and beans is like $25. The rice and bean sides are kinda small so order extra if feeding more than two adults.The green salsa is spicy but one of my favorites.
The chicken was good, had a lot of flavor. The beans were bland. The flautas were so small. There was hardly any meat in them. I wanted to try the carne asada but I was told they do not make the steak medium rare. It's already cooked and reheated on the grill, so I can imagine it would have been tough and dry. Does anyone know if you can order only the chicken for catering?
We are new to new braunfels and wanted to try this place out. Have nothing good to say about it. I ordered Carne asada ... I got steak meat, dried and over cooked. Tortillas that were clearly microwaved ... horrible. This place isn't cheap so for the prices they charge you would expect much better food. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
I got really bad and over burned food. I want to support local businesses, but this is one that I would skip. The parking lot is a nightmare with all of the drive thru and eat in places. You have very flimsy plastic utensils. It's not the cleanest (which can be forgiven with good/great food) and not worth the trip.
Ordered and paid online. Got there for pickup. Was told to stand aside while they took walk in orders. 20 minutes later was told my food was never packaged and there would be another wait. At this point it's been over an hour. All of a sudden, cashier doesn't speak English. Just walked out due to frustration. I understand short staffing. But I paid and already had an order in place. I should have had a little priority over walk in guests.
Everything was good and had lunch for a little under $10. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other stuff on the menu.
Went in with friend, was my first time. We both had the chicken taco, was a bit salty but really tasty and filling. She got a chicken potato and i got barbacoa. really loved how tender and not greasy it was. Then i noticed they use REALLY. EXOTIC. SPICES. Cant even finish my jamaica because theres no telling what extra spices they use in the ice machine and drink machine. By EXOTIC SPICES I really mean ROACHES.
