The Envy will haunt your dreams.As someone who grew up in New Braunfels but currently doesn't live there, Cravings stands out in my mind as truly one of the best places to eat in town and if I ever happen to find myself in NB on a weekday at lunch time, you better believe I'm heading to get some of the best sandwiches I've ever had.This place is special. Try their soup. Get the pesto pasta instead of chips. Get one of those incredible cookies. Be happy.
If you want good service this is not the place to go. I went through the drive thru and was told to park in front food would be right out. 3 cars came after me and placed their orders they all got served before me. Finally after 35 mins of waiting and asking the girl bringing the food outside 3 times where was my order she finally brings it out. I get all.the way home and find out they didn't put all of my order in the bags had to go all the way back. My first time there and will never go back . Bad service period.
Located in New Braunfels, Texas is a great little breakfast and sandwich shop, owned and operated by women, Shawn Scroggin and Cassandra Lindemann. Two schoolteachers who decided to change careers and start their own little restaurant 14 years ago. First a small drive-up window location, and now in a still small quaint restaurant that includes indoors seating. Sadly, Cassandra lost her battle with cancer, but Shawn continues their dream. Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and wonderful sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups, dinners-to-go, coffee and dessert. Everything you order there is made from scratch and all at very reasonable prices. Forget the food chain sandwich shops. Do your pallet a favor flavor and grab your home-made breakfast and/or lunch at Cravings. You will be glad you did.
If you want good soup and customer service, this is not the place to go!Ordered 3 orders of Butternut Squash soup and some firecrackers to go. The soup was absolutely horrible. At first site when opened, it is very off putting to the eyes but the taste was even worse! Very gritty and watery. I called manager to ask for a refund and their response was as followed..."I'm so sorry you all didn't like it. We tasted it up here and we all love it. We can't do anything else about it."Very disappointed with that type of customer service and we will not be going back there. Whatever happened to pleasing the customer? Those days seem long gone!
Looking for food that is delicious, made with love, and absolutely incredible? You HAVE to visit this place! On our first trip to Cravings we found out that they had dinners to go, we grabbed a chicken spaghetti and WOW!!!! Needless to say, Cravings is now one of our favorite restaurants. So glad we have this gem in New Braunfels.
This restaurant in the downtown-ish area of New Braunfels is a delightful gem of a restaurant! My friend brought me here for a lunch, and I was amazed at the friendly service, the fantastic food, and the warm and friendly family environment. If you’re in New Braunfels, you have to check out this place! I had the chicken salad sandwich, the pesto pasta, and the lemonade, and they amazing. Will definitely come again.

Fresh sandwiches both hot and cold offered up daily . Very fresh tasting pasta sides and many other fresh offerings . This is way better than going to that generic sandwich store or burger joint for probably less money . Very friendly staff . Indoor and outdoor seating and the have curbside . A really cool change of pace .
