We do a lot of BBQ. Pork ribs were good. Brisket was good but the burnt ends were not. If you don't like mustard stay away from the potato salad. Beans were fantastic. Overall I feel they may be a little too proud of the pit with the premium they charge. The employees were all super nice and the place is clean and roomy. Nothing was out of place or out of stock. Just felt a little too pricey for the quality returned on this trip.
This was my first time eating at Cooper’s, after recommending it during my business trip. I thought it was cool that you could choose the type of BBQ’d meet as you walked through the door. I tried the brisket and sausage. I also had the Mac and cheese and the pinto beans. I thought all of the food was great. I loved the atmosphere with long picnic tables, large jars of jalapeños and unlimited beans. The staff was very friendly as well. All in all, I thought they had solid BBQ. I’d definitely go back.
My wife and I went here because we heard good things about it. Let me start with positive the pork chop absolutely amazing if that’s what you’re looking for this is a great place to go. Don’t make the same mistake I made an order the steak. It may have been the worst cut of meat I have ever had it has no flavor it was almost all fat. We will probably go back again but I will just get the pork chop like my wife did.
Great barbecue. I had brisket and sausage. Roasted corn was very good too. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Go through the line to be served and then find a table.
We were referred to Cooper's from a friend, so we decided to go for lunch. I was not disappointed. I have to say that the brisket was some of the best I've had. So tender, tasty, and juicy. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone and full of flavor. My wife and I ordered 1lb of brisket and a half chicken, and to my surprise - we finished the brisket and nearly all the chicken. We didnt have to add any BBQ sauce, just as-is. The sides were also tops. They have complimentary charro beans that you can scoop yourself which was also very good. Each table has a large jar of jalapenos if you like as well. Really enjoyed our meal and atmosphere here.
Good location on the loop. Restaurant is clean with indoor and outdoor seating. Free refills on fountain drinks. Food was great. We ordered 1/2lb of brisket burnt ends, and 4 chopped brisket lunch meals. With the meal you get a drink, Choice of a side and the house beans at the bar. Also tried the blackberry cobbler. Everything was awesome. The chopped sandwich was big. We will definitely be back.
Great BBQ. Order when you walk in and the meats are all by the pound. The beef rib was awesome (~$20/each). Free pinto beans, bread, and pickles after you pay. Very tasty bbq meal
Their BBQ is the best in Texas as far as I’m concerned. Everything is amazing and service is impeccable.
Good service and good food!
I was expecting more, but the food was good. I just had higher expectations. I order too much food and couldn't finish, but did really enjoy the blackberry cobbler.
