STEPHANIE!!! Stephanie is the best server there. Me and my family had her as our server once and have since then asked for her each time. I had my graduation party last night and she was the server!!! It was perhaps 25-30 of us and she was excellent. Everyone was happy and she was all smiles as well. The food also came out in a timely manner! Amazing service each time with her.
My husband and I went to Garcia's Mexican food restaurant in New Braunfels. We ordered the fajita chicken & steak nachos. When the plate arrived to the table, we were served one with chicken and the rest fajita meat. Lots of white onions pilled high, and not much guacamole. I decided to speak to the manager before we left. What a mistake.....!! She told us she was going to take care of our food. We had already been served and plates had been taken away. But, she decided to go talk to the Food Chef, and never came back to the table...until this happened. We asked our waiter for the check for our drinks.....told him the manager said she was going to take care of the food bill. He brought us our check for the drinks. A moment later, the manager came over to the table...told us we could not have our food for free! Talk about a mis-communication!! I went to pay our bill, and talk to the other manager. He asked me what happened with our food...I explained. I also, re-iterated WE would never expect to get free food...but that's what the general manager said....quote...unquote. We will never be back after this embarassing scene brought on by this restauarnt. The bigger lesson we learned....never tell a restaurant your food was bad after the fact!
Waited for an hour and my family was not able to be served dinner. So many other tables were sat after us and served on time. Manager didn’t even try to explain & server provided no explanation. I was looking fwd to those fajitas but couldn’t want for another hour. Ended up going to chic fil next door. I’m sure it’s no big deal to the establishment but I will never again go to a Casa Garcia’s, too many options close by.
Didn't have a good experience this time but our server was trying very hard to accommodate us. I can give you all the fuss but I rather remain humble and understand that we don't live in a perfect world and if it was me on the other end I would appreciate people that work with the situation and make things right rather than displaying childish behavior. They do have some good food and great ice tea...?...oh! Especially the choice of music is very fitting to the dinning.?
Wonderful food, always quickly seated because it is very spacious, even a back room for private parties or groups to meet. This is our go to for great Mexican food with generous servings and great service!
Cheese attack. One delivery of chips. Beans seem canned. Margarita was syrup in a glass. Waitress was at the table at the order and after food delivered, and for the check, only. No personality. Runner had no clue who had what food. After reading reviews, management should get involved! I usually give 5-stars, but not this time. Too bad, I want a great place close to my house.
Roxi, great service ?, thanks you Roxi for all that you do. Best bartender I know.
It was my first time eating here. Right away, I entered and stood in front of the register, which had 3 people working behind or to the side of it. No one offered to seat me; I can only imagine they thought I was with more people that hadn't come in yet.Once I was seated, no waitress came. A few minutes went by, and one apologized and took my drink order. No sooner than she walked away, a 2nd waitress comes and introduces herself and asks if she can take my drink order. The first waitress comes back with my drink but no chips and salsa and says they should be right out. When she comes back to take my food order, she sees theres still no chips and salsa and says she will go get some..I hinted that I was interested in the red chile pork but also wanted to try the enchiladas, but I was told there was no option for this. I figured maybe I could get a side of it with an enchilada plate or something. So, I just ordered the Red Chile Pork. Finally, my chips and salsa come out. After about 15 minutes, my food arrived, and right away, I thought something was missing. I figured it out that the guacamole salad that the menu said was included was missing. I double-checked; I had photographed the menu. When the waitress came back, she asked if everything was good? I said, doesn't this come with a salad? She says no.. I say, are you sure, she says.. I don't think so.. I say.. I think it does.. I thought the menu said guacamole salad. She says.. Maybe it does. I'll go get it..Halfway through my meal, the guacamole salad comes. I finish eating and decide to get a desert, sopapillas.. They arrive and are flat.. fried almost like flour tortillas with honey and powdered sugar. Waitress asks how they are? I say different; she comments that other people have said the same thing.Now.. The pork was a mix of very tender and medium tender meat; the guajillo sauce had good flavor but cooled down quickly.. The rice was just OK, and beans were nothing special. Fresh tortillas were good; the portion side was decent, not too large or small. The waitress did bring me to go boxes and a drink to go..Not sure what to say.. The food was a 3/5, service 3/5 only due to confusion everywhere. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great, and the constant confusion was somewhat frustrating.
The tortillas are always fresh. Coffee always fresh. The food is always fresh hot and great. Customer services amazing the place is always clean nice and cozy.
Good service? ABSOLUTELY NOT!I was with me Dad picking up food we ordered and after a long wait the “server” handed us 2 items that we absolutely did NOT order. When we pointed out that we wanted to be refunded the 2 items we did not order she said “well you have to take it anyway”Then we asked to speak with the owner and she said “the owner is not here, I’m the manger and I’m in charge right now”, then she simply walked away. After waiting about 10 minutes and her not coming back out we just left. That was my first experience there but my Dad was a regular. He will never return again. It doesn’t matter if this was a one time incident, the fact that it happened is the issue. Especially for a “manager” to conduct themselves like that.
