I had such an outstanding experience at the Applebee’s located in New Braunfels, Texas July 4th I have eaten in so many restaurant’s over the years. This place was very clean and the food was delicious. Everyone was so nice. The General Manager even stopped by to wish everyone a happy 4th and asked if everything was to our satisfaction. I would give this review 10 stars if I could. Thank you to everyone for making everyone feel in my party like a VIP!!
Haven't eaten here but picked up food deliveries here. This place looks like it's stuck in time somewhere in the late 90's.The people are friendly. Feels like there's always two to three people at the bar at any given time. And a few families in there eating at the booths. It's very dim lit in the restaurant and I've never met a host at the door.... something about this places makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to like a year into its first opening.Good for a bite, but Id probably get it to go.
Today is my birthday so I wanted to go to a nice restaurant and enjoy myself. I called ahead and spoke to a gentleman that assured me there was no wait. I walk in with my date and the woman standing at the door grabs a dry erase sheet and stands there just flipping it around. She didn't greet us and didn't even acknowledge us standing there. I waited 8 minutes with no one else waiting to be seated. Finally I left after never even a word having been said to me. I will never go back. This restaurant has extremely poor service.
Waitress was great, the pretzels appetizer, was great, but the entrees were not. I got the prime rib sandwich, and it's $14, almost as much as the sirloin steak, which I should have gotten instead. The dipping soup was sweet, and they put cheap prepackaged cheese on my prime rib sandwich, which made the whole thing taste cheap. Severely disappointed.my friend ordered the salad and said it wasn't great either while holding up a piece of limp lettuce. I was charged an extra $2.45 for onion rings instead of fries, and that meant I got 5 onion rings. And effectively paid more than the price of the 8oz steak. Next time I'm waiting for a movie, I'm only getting the pretzels. Also my friends breadstick on her salad was really good. Lol.
Went to Applebee's for mother's day, on Sunday the servers were nice and the food wasn't, I got the steak and mashed potatos it was a special they were having I took one bite and already knew something was wrong. The inside was still pink and it tasted funny for the next couple of days I fell I'll and went to the doctors to tell me I had food poisoning, I probably won't be back, but maybe in the future I'll try it again. But please I would advise the chef or someone about it. But the staff were amazing just the food didn't.
Our waiter was good and friendly. It looked like there were only a couple of waiters so they were busy and it took a bit for us to order and get our refills but it wasn’t the waitstaffs fault..he did his best. Our food was good and no complaints about it. We had a overall good experience.
I had a great experience at Applebee’s yesterday! Was greeted immediately when my boyfriend and I walked in the door. The waitress was helpful and knew the menu well. I ordered the date night daiquiri. It was a one of a kind drink. I will definitely order it again along with the bourbon steak.
Food was good, but the sweat tea was off. The atmosphere was really low energy. No one really seemed happy to be there. Our waitress was attentive, but unenthusiastic. She showed a little bit of pep toward the end though.
Attempted to eat here and the hostess alone was enough to set me off and go somewhere else. She never greeted us and just kept awkwardly looking at us. After a minute of her shuffling menus, she finally asked how many, and then laughed when we said TWO and said “oh yea thats definitely gonna be a wait” and then rolled her eyes and walked away. This girl was on drugs or something. She was NOT okay. Very VERY rude.
