My wedding was June 10, 2022 and 2Tarts catered our cake and cupcakes for the guests. We had 4 flavors (vanilla with buttercream, red velvet, banana pudding and carrot cake). Each flavor was so delicious. Our guests were raving about it for days after the wedding. Also, they opened and set up the cake topper I purchased, along with all of our cake stands. They helped make it a smooth, successful and delicious day!
Words cannot describe my love for this sweet bakery. Their selection of treats is vast. Their coffees are delicious. My favorite thing about them? Their custom cakes. They’ve made several of my birthday cakes and they’ve all been the most beautiful cakes of my dreams. They take my inspiration and make it a reality that always blows my mind. In addition to the stunning beauty and design, they are DELICIOUS (my fave is strawberry cake with lemon curd and buttercream).
Great shop with tasty treats. We stopped in to grab some cookies, a couple tarts and a coffee while we were walking around New Braunfels. It was a nice relaxing stop and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. It was a busy time of the morning but the staff took their time with everyone and they were super friendly. We sat inside and enjoyed the smells and sounds of people excitedly choosing their treats.
I moved to New Braunfels from San Francisco, and 2Tarts could hold its own as a bakery and coffee shop in SF.I love their drip coffee and my wife loves their espresso beverages. Their "pigs in ponchos" (basically a large smoked sausage wrapped in biscuit dough) are delicious, as are their scones.I've gotten a couple of case cakes for birthdays, and they are 1. delicious 2. beautiful and 3. filling. One smallish cake feeds like 8 or more people!Their pecan pie is surprisingly good, too.
Omg.. when I yell you this place had the best macaroons I had ever put in my mouth. I never knew they were supposed to taste like that. It was like heaven in a bite. That was just amazing. The sticky sweetness of the honey that was drizzled on it, and the fluffiness inside that was so yummy. If you haven't been here, you definitely should go.
We visited for my birthday! The poppy seed cheesecake was amazing!
Stopped in for coffee, but one item in the display case caught my eye. It was called an almond pithivier, whatever that is. The thing had a list price at $6, but it was well worth it. The coffee is good too.
Peanut butter pie is to die for and the blueberry & lemon tart was fresh and crisp but not too sweet. The caramel latte was also very good. Will definitely make this a regular stop when visiting New Braunfels. The staff was super friendly.
Oh my goodness!!! The lavender blueberry chocolate deliciousness is seriously DIVINE!!! There are so many things I want to try ♥️♥️♥️
My wife and I have come here for years, but lately the customer service in person has been less than amazing. This week when we went with our child, we were turned away with a few minutes left until close. My child was obviously disappointed with several other people in line at the case still. Not understanding why we were turned away? Also, online and on the answering machine when we called to double check the hours are incorrect. We drive about 40 minutes to come here. Bakery is good. That’s the reason for the 2 stars. We wrote them about this instance and didn’t hear back yet. We won’t be returning.
