I am amazed at the quality of service we received with our party of 37 ladies. We had great service with pleasant attitudes and smiles. We do this yearly and thank you so much for a great time and food.
Ask for Harley! She's a phenomenal server at Nac Jalapeño Tree. Fast friendly service. Great environment. The food is fantastic and the drinks muy bueno!
The manager, Justin, is a creep. He likes to touch female employees and act in appropriately. He crosses the boundaries of just being a boss. Everyone who works there knows he’s creepy. I bet nobody will do anything about it though. The creeps are usually allowed to get away with it by simply denying whatever they are accused of.
We came in with an entire softball team of 13 young girls, all of their siblings, plus parents and some grandparents. Very large party! They were so accommodating to us when we called 15 minutes before showing up. The waitstaff, and management were very friendly and beyond patient with us. Food was good, margaritas were good. Definitely recommend!
I don’t even know where to start. I called them up, said we had 40ish people coming (a whole softball team plus parents/siblings) and they made it happen! They were stretched thin as it was on staff but they worked with us and it was amazing!! Kuddos to the servers and the managers for just being so accommodating and making our night even better!Food was awesome as well! Fajita beef was on point and cheese enchiladas were also very good! My husband loved the chile rellenos.
It took us years of living here for us to visit Jalapeno Tree. My husband is never a fan of Mexican food, but I finally convinced him to try this place and he found a steak to love while I got my Tex Mex fix
It was great! Birthday celebration for my great grandson and the food delicious. I got the steak and it was perfect! I will travel 2 hours to eat there again. Good job y'all!
Sometimes, first experiences with restaurants can surprise people. I was long overdue to give The Jalapeno Tree a try, given that I've driven by so many them on my travels to East Texas. I decided to stop in at this Nac location, and everything turned out just right! Among the order of the day were rice and beans, a beef enchilada with chili, and a chicken flauta. With it came a cup of queso, and the container it came in was made from what appeared to be a fried tortilla. Usually when I get flautas, many times, they're made with corn tortillas, but not the ones at Jalapeno Tree. This one was with a flour tortilla, but it certainly fit the bill, deep-fried and very good. That may have been the best one I've ever eaten. The enchilada had a texture that was perfect all throughout, with a great chili sauce on top. The rice and refrieds were both outstanding. Even had great chips and a fine hot sauce before the meal came out. Great service, too, especially by my wonderful server, who I believe really saw to it that I was taken care of. The cold iced tea washed everything down easily. As pleasantly surprised as I was by The Jalapeno Tree, the food alone was worthy of this chain getting an eventual second visit. Especially when this traveler can't get that chicken flauta off his mind!
We arrived around 4. On a Saturday. Our server probably came on shift at 4 too. He was surprised at the early dinner rush- and that meant we waited for the chips n dips. Jared couldn’t answer what a Margarita Meltdown was. Oh well- it was ordered anyways. Turns out- it’s a margarita with a blue curaçao Sidecar. Our papa bear was served without jalapeño, and the Bo Diddly (fish) wasn’t seasoned. I found the texture to be off putting. I had the same dish in Marshall and it was amazing. So maybe give ‘em a pass? Idk. The shrimp were a little chewy. But dang that sauce makes everything better. Imma give this Jalapeño Tree ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars.
We had a Shrine meeting in one of the private rooms and we were well taken care of. The servers were very attentive to our needs and checked in on us often.
