Went to Good Bites for lunch this past Tuesday with two coworkers. The menus were falling apart and sticky. There is no way for the menus to be properly cleaned. There was only one server working during lunchtime, which I thought was a bit odd. Two of us ordered burgers and the other ordered the enchilada special. It took quite a long time to get our food. The burgers were pretty good and the price was great. If you want a decent burger this will do. Unfortunately the enchilada plate was very disappointing and would not be suggested. We received our checks and wanted to pay pretty quickly, since we had already been there past our lunch hour. The one server was busy and we ended up waiting until my coworker had to stop him to take out payments. When I attempted to hand my cash and change to the waiter he snatched it from me so quickly that my change went flying across the table.Cons:Not enough serversDirty menusFood quality is inconsistentCustomer service skills could be improvedPros:Burgers were decentPrice was low (thankfully)Not a place I would pick on my own or take my family.

Delicious food, wonderful staff! Will definitely be back!!

Delicious, affordable and has dozens of unique options you can’t get anywhere else in town. Every time I eat here I wonder why I don’t go every day ? Pork belly was rendered perfectly, the birria tacos are always super crispy and flavorful. 10/10.

All four dishes we had were great! We especially like the Birria Tacos with consomme dip: tender well seasoned meat, mouth watering! Filling enough to split between us.The Huarache was very good with the fresh lettuce sprinkled on top. The Pupusa had the traditional taste and feel of corn masa.Don't forget dessert: the Tres Leches Cake was delicious!Everything was inexpensive. The attentive service and relaxed open atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience.

Food with delicious extras! "Word of Mouth" got me here and I'm delighted that I went. Their food has little, tasty, tweaks that will make you appreciate their thoughtfulness.Today, they gave me the wrong pick-up order, and it was still delicious! I called to tell them that they gave me the wrong order, and they were more than willing to make things right. That's service!I have only gotten food to go, but I look forward to dine-in with my family. This gem is at the top of my list! My only regret is that I don't live closer.

We arrived approx 1:30, there were 8 of us, we were seated promptly, from there went to hell. The waitress showed, too drink orders, 20 minutes later, drinks arr. Food orders taken, 4 of us ordered burgers. The others nothing just off the menu. 40 minutes later food arrives...Come on. There were 3 doing the cooking. And only 6 others in the place...Food was good. But if I were in a hurry not going back..

Good Bites is an interesting, relatively new, restaurant in Nacogdoches. It is a family owned and run eatery with an interesting twist...in addition to a great range of entrees consisting of American style steak, chicken and fish, as well as a wide offering of burgers and salads, they offer a selection of appetizers and entrees based on family cooking from El Salvador.I have had street tacos from lots of places in Central America and Mexico before - and I do have a favorite - but this was the first time I have had El Salvadorian street tacos. And I now have a very close new favorite style. If you want an informal, laid back place that has good food for a good price you can't go wrong by giving Good Bites a try.(Start off with the fajita beef street tacos with an extra squeeze of lime. You can't go wrong.) Enjoy!

We had passed by this place quite a few times and decided to give it a try. We were quickly seated. Our server who was from Alaska had only been working there two days. He was on point. Our drinks were always full. He was very attentive, friendly and personable. He knew the menu quite well. I thought it was more of a "bar and grill" place, but it was much more. I ordered the Birra tacos. They were amazing. They were a little crispier than I was expecting. They are usually dipped in sauce and then added to the plate. The meat was plentiful and the consume' was fantastic. My son ordered the chick parm. It was cooked to perfection. The green beans were a little on the bland side. They do offer free margaritas. I was brought a mango one. It hardly had any taste to it. I expected it to have a tad bit more alcohol in it. It almost tasted like a virgin margarita. We had shared some Fire fries which were fries with chicken, cheese and buffalo sauce. They were amazing. This place is definitely worth a stop if you are hungry for something off the beaten path.

has the best tacos. and the server was get and he seem to love what he was doing. he was fun and caring.
