If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I totally would !! Came here on a Saturday night. The service was very good, for we got seating really fast. The atmosphere was really nice, and I liked the aesthetic of the place. Parking itself was not an issue, for there is a big parking lot located outside of the restaurant. As for the food itself, it was so delicious and at such a good price! I ordered the Chicken alfredo, and it was soooo good. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend for you to check this place out !
Service was good but I ordered a wedge salad that is supposed to have blue cheese dressing It only had enough for 1/3 of the salad they charged me for more. Which Would not bother me if they put enough on in the first place. My wife’s spicy chicken and shrimp was good except the chicken was dry & tough. The bread wasn’t as fresh as it has been in the past.
I haven't been to this place in a while so was glad to get the opportunity. The Chicken Lombardi was awesome! I wish I knew how they cooked it so I could try it at home! Staff were friendly and efficient, good value for the money. Highly recommend!
Went for Mothers Day. Food was amazing, as always. I had Chicken Scalipini and it's a perfect blend of flavors and texture. Highly recommend. Wife had garlic grilled chicken breast...it looked amazing as well. Great service, too. Having our youngest come in from college to surprise his mom was an added bonus!
The exterior gave us pause; it's a little grungy. But once we stepped inside, that changed. We were seated in the bar area, their choice. Our waitress was super attentive, answering all our questions. We each ordered a cocktail, both were superb. (The person who had recommended Auntie Pasta's had said they had amazing cocktails. She was correct.) The bread, 2 whole loaves, was served with crunchy roasted garlic and olive oil. Wonderful. The main entrées were huge, neither of us could eat all of it. The flavors were perfectly balanced. I will definitely return.
I'm not from Nacogdoches. The guy at the city visitor center recommended the place. I was a little concerned it might be a "Tourist Trap". I can't say it's not, but I can say I'd gladly go back. The atmosphere is casual and fun, but nice enough for date night. The table of ladies next to us were a bit raucous ("girls night out I guess"). We had the "shrimp wonton" appetizers. They were not what I expected, but they were very good. I'd recommend them. I had "Mama's Spicy Chicken and Shrimp". It was very good. My son had some kind of combo platter. It was very generous and apparently very good. (He didn't share!). One of my pet peeves is restaurants with lousy beer selection. Auntie Pasta's has a reasonably good beer list including some local brews. If I recall, the beers I had were from the Fredonia brewery. They were decent beers, but more importantly, I had the opportunity to try a new (to me) and local brew. Our experience would have been awesome if it were not for the wait. It took way too long to get our food. Maybe if I wanted to drink more (like the ladies "next door") I wouldn't have noticed. Our waitress apologized for the long wait. She told us there were only two cooks in the kitchen. It was a Tuesday night. My dinner was also not piping hot (my son's was). It may have had to wait on his! If I could give half stars, I'd probably take half a star away for the wait. On the other hand, if it weren't for the wait, it might have been 4.5*.
Our waitress was awesome---so friendly and attentive. I can't remember her name---Callie maybe. The food was absolutely delicious. We had pizza, nachos and salmon. We (two of my sisters and me) had a blast trying it all. We will definitely be back.
this was my first time ever coming here. and it was just amazing food and great service from waitresses who weren't even our servers. Especially our waiter Oscar! He definitely went above and beyond to not only be friendly and make us feel welcomed but he also asked us questions when helping us decide on what to eat and gave us some excellent suggestions. I will definitely be coming here again!
Such a great experience! We came in about 7pm on a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we were seated in about 15 minutes. Server was very nice and tended to our needs (refills on drinks, extra napkins, etc). Food was fantastic. Great prices, great portion sizes.
Stunning food and great service.
