Cafe in the Green Walden is the best restaurant in our Area. The menu is wonderful and the entertainment is on weekends is great.
Open to the public, the Cafe is at the Walden Golf Club. Never had a bad meal here! Great service and reasonable prices.
People from all over Montgomery, Conroe, Willis and other locals come to eat here. They have an extensive menu along with a nice selection of wine and a bar. They have weekly specials. The food is really good and the service as well. There is also an outside patio overlooking a beautiful golf hole you can eat at.
I lived in Walden for many years and am still in the area. We have loved Cafe on the Green for years! I recently hosted a brunch there to celebrate my daughter’s baptism. From the moment I made my reservation, I was very impressed! Our table was ready and waiting when we arrived. They had also set up a separate table for cake and gifts. Since we were running a little late, they held the brunch buffet open a bit later for our group and had even refreshed it for us! Food was delicious. Chef Oscar was available to make omelettes. Our server, Paul, was extremely attentive, kind, and professional. It was a lovely brunch!
A really nice local treasure. Beautiful view of the golf course--a a great place to eat outside on a nice day. Food is very good and they always have some interesting menu items. Service is fine unless they get overrun with guests. And prices are very reasonable.
My group of ten made a last minute reservation. The accommodated on a Friday for lunch and even seated us in their group room! Each of us ordered something different. Our food was wonderful, the presentation beautiful and the service outstanding!
Dined there last night. Heard good things about it prior to dining. Disappointed in service and food preparation and delivery. All very disorganized and delayed. Will try again to give them benefit of the doubt but firs visit was not a good one!
We've had lunch there a couple of times, once indoors and once outside on the deck. The food is always tasty, the service good, and the drinks cold!
Been here several times with Wife alone and with family. Food was very good and service was extremely good. Good prices and good servings. We will be going back.
Beautiful view of the golf course. Food is so-so and service is average. If looking for a good burger and ambience, a good choice.
