After a weird experience with a manager a couple of years ago, we didn't come back for awhile. But about a year ago we started coming her every week or two, and it's pretty good. It's "Montgomery Good", and that means great for Montgomery and pretty good by big-city standards. The menu's huge, the pizzas are excellent, and the service is surprisingly knowledgeable, quick, and always pleasant.Minor issues: 1) no wine should be served WARM, and no matter which red we order, it's at least 15 degrees too warm. Bit of a pain to have to wait for it to chill, so we just put ice on our glasses. I know, I know.2) The standard red sauce that is served on most everything is just too bland, too monochromatic. A little spice, maybe some zest, something to liven it up. It's okay, but could be so much better.
We celebrated my mom‘s 80th birthday party at pizza shack. Our waitress Sarah, was just absolutely spectacular. We chose the Italian buffet catered by Danello‘s. We had lasagna, and chicken Alfredo. Everything was absolutely delicious I was pleasantly surprised! I would definitely recommend pizza shack to host a larger group. We had a private room and a huge screen to play our video tribute to my mother. Thank you to all the employees who are involved from start to finish we greatly appreciate a wonderful service and delicious food!
Stopped by this place with the family one afternoon after getting it recommended to us by a staff member at the local putt putt golf course. The place was nice, easy to get in and out of, and the food was good and reasonably priced. Though we did not sit in the bar, it was nice and it was easy to see the large TVs in the bar from other places in the restaurant. Staff were professional and nice, the place was very well run. I did not think the cupcakes were as great as advertised but they were still okay. I will definitely go back, give it a chance if you are in the area.
My wife and I both ordered the Cajan chicken pasta. While my wife’s came out good, both my chicken and bread were burnt. The restaurant only had a few tables occupied. The manager was walking around the floor more like a warden in a prison than someone concerned about customer services. He passed our table several times and said nothing. I finally had the waitress get the manager. Ten minutes later, he finally came by our table although he was just standing in the corner doing nothing. The dish came with blackened chicken, so the manager proceeded to tell me, and I quote, “There is nothing wrong with the chicken, it is served blackened” and the problem was that I just didn’t like blackened chicken. I informed the manager that there is a big difference between blackened and a piece of chicken that more closely resembled jerky. I also compared my meal to my wife’s which was cooked correctly. He could not explain the difference, just that he served hundreds of these meals and literally said the problem was with me never accepting that one just came out burnt. While my roll was obviously burnt and hard as a rock, he told me that they had switched bread and there was nothing wrong with my roll even though he could not explain why my wife’s was not burnt and was soft. Pizza Shack wants to charge high-end prices but provide fast food quality and service. I have never in my life been to a restaurant where the problem was go blatantly obvious and had a manager tell me that the problem was my taste and not my meal even though you could compare it to the exact same dish sitting inches away.

This is way more than a pizza shack it has amazing foods on the menu Place is always packed with people and they have a big facility but it's just that good.
The service was good this evening. I had their pizza, salad and bread sticks. I’m not sure which one did it but I’m feeling so sick tonight after eating here today. I have been perfectly fine up until I had their food. My friend complained that she didn’t feel well after eating here a few days ago. I should have listened to her. I’m sorry but I will not be returning. The food did taste good however I’m not a gluten for punishment either. I do not want to feel this sick to my stomach again I left this afternoon at around 5pm and it’s now 10pm I’m still feeling bad.
I really enjoy eating here. It has a great mix of really good food and good service. I'm gluten free, not by choice, and they have both pizza and pasta that I can eat. And it's really good!! Gluten free pasta isn't the easiest thing to make, and I haven't been disappointed. They also have a very easy curbside pick up. They ask what your car looks like, then when you arrive, they bring your bill and food without needing to ask who you are. I fully recommend Pizza Shack ?
We used to love Pizza Shack. They need service help but also customer service.My salmon was super overcooked the first time, as in... crunchy. Sent it back the new piece came half cooked. The butter they put on top wouldn't even melt because it was undercooked. 3rd time was the charm... after everyone is done eating. We would have appreciated an apology or even taking half off the entree or a dessert for the issue can go a long way. When I told the waitress we were disappointed, she spoke with the same manager who avoided us as we paid and left. Just... they need some help. Customer service goes a very long way especially since they can't help being short staffed in front of house.Chicken parm was fantastic. Always is.
Best food and service in Montgomery. 13 members of my family had a holiday lunch at the shack and it was great.
