My husband n I went in for an early dinner . We can not say enough about our server Freddie Lee. He was awesome, he kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed refreshing our drinks, chips, salsa. Was a happy cheerful person He is truly an asset to you restaurant. The food was great will definitely go back
Came here to have dinner with some friends while in town. Had a 10 minute wait which wasn’t bad as it was a Friday night around 6. Waitress was great. Got us drinks and recommended some good ones. I had the fried fish and shrimp. It was cooked perfect and tasted great.
My family went to fajita jacks on Lake Conroe on May 29. It was fairly busy so we sat at the bar. Our food order was not taken even though we sat there for 30 minutes. We then moved to an outside table, and another 30 minutes past before anybody took her order.So, after 60 minutes Nobody had taken our order, even after asking three servers for help. Finally a manager came over and took our order. We waited another 25 minutes for our fajitas to arrive. The temperature was warm at best. It was obvious that the onions and fajita meat were not grilled fresh. There was no smoky flavor or caramelization. The shrimp was spongy and sketchy. Nothing had flavor or seemed fresh. After taking several bites we told the waitress that the food was disgusting and that we were leaving and would not be paying for anything. She said OK and asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. I said there’s no point I’m ready to leave. I had been there for over two hours and didn’t have anything edible to eat. Despite telling the waitress that I was leaving and would not be paying, and being told that that was OK and that she understood, we were chased out of the restaurant by a manager screaming at us.At this point I was Scared for my family’s safety! He kept screaming at us as we walked away faster and faster. I will NEDER go to this restaurant again and recommend anybody that likes good food and good management and good service stay away too.
Great location & good food, service tonight was not up to par with our waiter. Ask for Freddie; our usual waiter. So sad I was told he didn’t work at the beginning of the week because he was there. He is the best waiter you can ask for, very attentive! We were there a few months ago (yes, we’ve been several times since then!) with our friends that have a special needs child. He amazed me with his attention to ALL of us, especially her and their other 2 children. This doesn’t always happen so when it does, it’s huge! Great job Freddie!
We take our boat over to Fajita Jacks to have a good margarita and eat the BEST VEGGIE FAJITAS I’ve ever had! But there’s one BIG problem… they will not let us bring our Doodle (dog) on their secondary patio! We would eat here every time we’re on the boat, but we usually have our dog with us. They have two separate patios!!! There’s even an outside gate to enter from. People that don’t like dogs on patios would not be exposed in any way! The interior would not be exposed. There’s another restaurant on the water that allows dogs, so we’re going to give it a try. But we really hope FJ’s will open their hearts and patios to dog families. We’ve tried getting it to go and eat on the boat, but that sucks. We’re not doing it anymore. There’s nowhere to sit near the dock outside either. Everyone adopted dogs during the pandemic that didn’t already have them and we are used to doing everything together. FJ’s needs to fully embrace dog families like so many other restaurants and businesses have. If a dog patio opens my 3 stars will become 5 stars! Come on it’s easy! You have the set up for it! You will make so many great customers very happy! ?
Scenery is what made this a 4 star. But I was disappointed in service. My wife & 3yr old and I had been waiting for 10 minutes at our table(easily)before we were approached. Once food got there it was not sizzling like some other tables near us and not worth the $45 price tag it came with. Overall it was a $77 experience I won't do again. It's sad cause the service doesn't match the beautiful lake surrounding it.
Food was good. Waiter was great. Always smiled and was there when needed. Kids didn't bug him and we had 4 with us.

So I finally went here. The place is very nice looking and comfortable. The staff was beyond nice on my visit. The food was okay, not bad but not special and overpriced for the serving sizes of the servings.
