This is absolutely unacceptable. At no point should raw food ever leave a restaurant. I’m serve safe certified and worked in fast food before. Food intended to be cooked should not even be boxed up until it’s cooked. I’m from Houston and been going to taco cabana since it was two pesos. Someone put half frozen food in a to go container and served it… seriously! This feels very intentional not to mention scary because of this being out of temp control and cross contamination. I hope they are not putting cooked food back in containers where it was raw. For the readers, Never eat raw dough, egg and some other uncooked ingredients could make you really sick. In this situation trash it immediately. We may not give this location another chance. We moved to the area in the past year and this was our first visit to this location.
This restaurant is in the perfect location after long hours of shopping with the family and in the way back home. The only thing I didn't like was the pricing. I realize everything needs to be adjusted according to the high cost of living. I still gave you guys 5 stars since the service was great, the entire crew were courteous and friendly. I will certainly will be coming back. Thank you so much!!
Absolutely horrible customer service the store closes at 10pm I arrived at 9:50 after getting off of work to get food. Drive through service associate ignored me over mic! When I pulled to the window she stated that they were closed after I had sat in the drive through for several minutes. I asked to speak with the manager Matt and he asked what I wanted and proceeded to tell me they were out of what I was requesting!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL ! I ended up having to go to the nearest Chick-fil-A for better customer service!
02/09/2022 Hey,Just left here today first time at this Taco Cabana went through the drive thru my son and I,We ordered the Cabana Salad and Cabana Bowl and a medium Ice Tea .The food was so delicious ? and the guy at the window was super nice and polite,he ask what sauces did we want and we told him and he gave them to us with no problem,everything was so fresh and delicious,after we received our food he said have a nice day and we said same to you. Now that's very good service'Definitely Will Be Back' we pull out and ate our delicious food in the parking lot because the atmosphere was so good there.Wait I can't forget the Ice Tea it was so very refreshing not to sweet just the way I like it????Thanks We'll Be Back ...
I haven't been to any location of Taco Cabana in many months personally, and this last visit was in the capacity as an Uber Eats Driver. The order was not even started when I arrived (and I had even stopped for another pickup before I headed to their store), and there were no staff at the registers to take orders. All of a sudden staff members appeared. It still took five minutes before only one of the magically appearing staff members got in the kitchen. Unbelievably slow. The manager noticed my frustration when the drink order was incorrect. I told the staff person that I had to call the customer to explain that the drink they wanted was not available. Maybe Uber Eats is not appreciated at this store, but by the time I left the store, I decided I would not do any more pick ups at this location.
This is the worst Taco Cabana that I have ever come across I place my order then I noticed the girl taking order with my Completed order in her hand. I wait an additional 5 minutes then I asked for salsa and jalapenos only to be told that they do not have any! What the hell this, is Taco Cabana. I get home only to find out that my Sprite was half full with a gnat in it and my nachos were salty and the steak tasted weird my fajita tacos were soggy Tomatoes were old and Soggy. I wasted my money , I will not be back!! This place is poorly managed
The food was good but management was terrible. The manager tried to argue me down about my food order. After getting my order wrong he wanted me to take the order anyway. That's not what I ordered that's not what I paid for so therefore fix my order correctly.
Friendly Customer service was great. Went on Sunday for lunch at the drive thru. Very welcoming man. Not sure if it was the manager but seemed like it. Food was great and fresh. Wish they had the green salsa though. :/ will be back at that location again.
I love this location and have been coming here for years! Food is always fresh & delicious. I love ordering the items with beyond meat and I am never disappointed. Anytime I have ever had an issue, it was resolved immediately. The only thing about this restaurant is they take so long to get your food to you. Otherwise, I would totally recommend this location!
For years they have been slow….. Several times I’ve waited over 15 minutes with no one in front of me not only to have my order taken, but before anyone ever even acknowledged me. After I order it’s always another 30 minutes or so before I get food….. They must focus all of their efforts on the drive thru or something. It’s been this way for years
