Worst bbq I’ve every had. The chicken was burnt and rock hard. The brisket was tough and bland. The Mac and cheese didn’t taste like cheese. The sausage was soggy. I got my son a brisket sandwich and he took one bite and threw it away. It tore my stomach up as well. Anybody giving a 5 star rating is lying. Please don’t waste your money. You’re better off eating literally anywhere else.
Meal was a complete let down. I got a bbq chicken plate with dirty rice and Mac and cheese as well as a Koolaid. Chicken was dry and hard as a rock, the sides didn’t have a lick of seasoning, And the koolaid was no where near fresh. Like it’s been sitting in the jugs for days. With me being 6 months pregnant I was looking forwards to them because my husband said that he’s been going here since he was in high school. It wasn’t even 30 minutes later that the food had me in the bathroom. That was a waste of 20 dollars but it’s a lesson learned as well. Never going back
I got a brisket sandwich & boudin. Food is really really good. I asked for pickles & onions but didnt get that or a side of bbq sauce. I Ordered through Uber eats.

Clearly I ordered Mac and cheese. How did I get fries? The chicken is hard and dry. The beans are dry, the rice has no flavor. I try to support black owned businesses but you wouldn't eat this. Poor presentation and taste. We gotta do better. My food looks nothing like the other pics in the reviews ??♀️??♀️
The food was great and the portions were adequate. The service was not all that. The lady at the register wasn't even aware of the online pricing. Too bad because the food alone could have gotten them 5 stars. I truly tip my hat to the chef.
Employees weren't friendly or welcoming. One employee came in from outside and didn't wash his hands before preparing the food. The BBQ was dry and bland. Tasted like it was made in the oven and not on the grill. The dirty rice was too salty and mac n cheese tasted like it came out of a box. Will not be back here .
Good BBQ from a an unexpected place definitely worth a try
