The worse sweet and sour shrimp ever!!! Overly fried shrimp with a container on the side of sweet and sour sauce. The shrimp was cold and hard and fried. Since when is sweet and sour shrimp not boiled and sauteed in sweet and sour sauce?!? When I called about it thinking they had just mixed up the orders the guy told me that's how they were made always. He didn't tell me that when I called and there is no description or picture of it since they cook it so differently than any other restaurants. No apology or remorse. It's okay because I never should have kept the flyer they left on my door. I never should have tried to give a mom and pop restaurant a chance because not all mom and pop restaurants are honest. I can't believe they are still open severing trash food. Lesson learned, next time I'm going to Panda Express. At Panda Express, it's more affordable, always hot, and always exactly what you ordered.
The picture doesn’t do it justice! I ordered the lemon chicken for lunch for the first time! Super quick online ordering. Chicken is crispy and fresh, lemon sauce is perfectly sweet, and the rice Is fresh. Highly recommend if you’re in the Missouri city area. However, it appears the restaurant is having AC issues, so I wouldn’t go in person at this moment.
If I could give this place a negative review I would. Absolutely disgusting. Completely wrong order. Staff was rude when picking up. Wontons had absolutely piss poor filling. Panda Express even fills them more than this place. We ordered fried rice with our meals and got white rice, no problem..I’ll add my own eggs, own soy sauce, and my own vegetables. Crispy shrimp and walnuts was soggy and I believe they used sweet and sour sauce as their special sauce or whatever it’s called. The sweet and sour was runny and chunky and watered down. The only damn good thing was the prepackaged duck sauce. 10/10 will not be recommending this place to my friends.
Food is OK but the shrimp with walnuts was pretty bad... it's fried shrimp in Watery tomatoes sauce and it just does not taste good.
Food is good but horrible customer service. With all the competition in the area it seems like they could manage at least a minimal amount of politeness. Person who answered the phone seemed annoyed that I was bothering him. I got my food home and an item was missing. When I called for a refund, no apology of any kind, just more attitude. We’ll try somewhere else next time.
Second and last time we will try this restaurant. Both times were for take out. Person that checked us out barely looked up at us. Not very welcoming. Was so excited to see steamed dumpling on menu but disappointed when we opened them. Very doughy and dry. Pretty tasteless. Main dish was Decent but we have had much better elsewhere. Heard good things about the place but very disappointed on both visits. Will continue to search for better option in the area.
Love their 8 Treasure Chicken. I can't find it anywhere else. Dumplings are huge. My only wish is that, although good, I prefer egg rolls to spring rolls.
Prices listed online are not what I was charged When I called in an order to be picked up. He said prices on their Google listing are not accurate and you have to go to the restaurant website for the correct pricing. They need to update their Google prices then.
