My Spice has done a great job by moving away from the stereotypical indian grocery shop appearance. And the selection is awesome, and well organized.So hope this is taken constructively. Why is it that there mutton cutlets taste like parippuvada and uzhunu vada smells like it was using some other oil?? Had this happen couple of times. Not a good idea to reuse the same oil for different type of foods. Spoils the whole lot.
The food is tasty. I have ordered a couple of times, about 20 minutes in advance but have had to wait up to 30 minutes after arrival to pickup the order,. This has happened on week days at noon time and on weekends.
My Spice Grocery in Missouri City is amazing! The store is so clean; I would have guessed it just opened this month! I have been to a number of Indian grocery stores that feel crammed in a small space, that’s not the case with My Spice. It is a large space and very organized. They have everything you need from fresh meats and seafood to a large variety of spice and rice. My Spice Grocery also has fresh chai and coffee available as well as a grill where I had some great chicken biryani. My Spice, well done!!
What can I say!!! I would’ve showed the samosas but they are in my tummy ?.Food is awesome I’ve never tried Indian food but I’m glad that I have. It’s always best to try different things . I ordered Chicken Biryani and it’s Amazing !!!! If your unsure due to it being your first time you can never go wrong with that start there. Thank you my Spice for a delicious lunch (enough for two days ) . More reviews to come !!!! Ps Always get samosas and fresh Hot tea when visiting the store . Masala tea!!
They don’t have proper coordination on food orders and take customer feedback lightly without improvement. I wasted ample time on food orders and billing—overall wrong choice and doubt On food quality. May need to understand the customer requirements properly.
This a brand new store and everything is neatly arranged with plenty of options to choose from. Ample space for parking as well.Love the take out Indian food,everything tasted fresh and very homely. We tried the Kerala special “Pothichoru”, and it was delicious.Highly recommend the store for both groceries and hot food items.
Stopped in with my daughter last night and had the best experience here. I went with the intention of trying their prepared foods, which were very tasty. The customer service is what hooked me, though. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I cannot say enough about their customer service.
Love the take out Indian food— tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, and biriyani were delicious and also recommend the cutlets and other snacks. It is a 30 minute drive for me but I always look forward to ordering from here.
We just moved to the area and we’ve tried most of the Indian stores here but so far we have not been disappointed by this one. Groceries are fairly priced and readily available. We’ve ordered food from here as well and so far no complaints. Flavors and spices are exactly what I’m looking for and it helps me not miss my mom’s cooking as much. I highly recommend My Spice Grocery.
