We got there about 910pm they were closing soon but Andy still let us come in and eat with the crawfish special. They have a deal 5 Lbs for 25$ best Price in town. The crawfish was fresh, soft, and oh so delicious. I also had the Wonton soup, spicy garlic edemame which was so good, and my favorite garlic noodles with some spicy sauce. We were able to eat and save a min or two right before they closed. You don't find a lot of restaurants with good service and food. Thank you MoCity Crawfish yall rock.
Recommend this place. Very good crawfish Garlic butter flavor is the best. Ordered Seafood garlic noodles is so good. There are promotions for 5 lbs crawfish for $25. Love it ? and I will be back.
The goods: crawfish, fresh coconut drinkThe bads: seasfood pho came with small portion of noodles; service and communicationI was in town for a visit in mid March and learned that crawfish was in season. Me and my sister ordered the 5 lbs special with spicy and mild sauce. I am by no means a crawfish connoisseur, but it was delicious. I like the house sauce especially. The coconut drink was refreshing. Now the negatives. There were only two waiters during the Sat lunchtime. They were busy and the service was so so. We thought we ordered one 5 lbs special but it was actually two. We finished them all but wished the waiter/owner would communicate better. We were disappointed by the seafood noodle special. The flavor was just ok but it came with a small portion of noodles. I asked the waitress and she said that was the right portion and said something that it was what came with (was it premade somewhere?). We had to order extra pho to have enough. That's never happened to hundreds of times I ate at Vietnamese restaurants. Sorry, I am not going back.
I love me some crawfish! went for the 5 for $25 crawfish. I just wanted to try them out and I am happy I did.Crawfish house special 5/5Flavor is very good. It is savory and bursting with flavor, my favorite! Outside was coated with the flavor. I loved it! I love the deal they have with crawfish costing everywhere about $8-10. This definitely is some bang for your buck. You don’t have to compromise on the flavor either.Fried platter 4/5Pretty decent platter. Nothing too unique.Lemon pepper wings 4/5Pretty good sized wings. Fried to a good crisp. The seasoning on here could be more lemony, but overall still tasty.Baby brisket pho 4/5Good sized pho for baby. It’s a sweeter side broth. Good amount of noodles and meats for my baby.
What can I say, super loving the house spicy sauce for crawfish. Great kick and perfect spice level and flavor. Very addicting. Potatoes, corn, sausage were great. Tried once out of blue and Came back a few days later haha. Great service, be mindful they are doing their best and are busy but they take care of their customers.
5 pouds for 25$ you canot beat that price. Definitely recommend garlic butter + Cajun for $2 more ,so tasty.
Went to MO City Crawfish last night, not impressed at all!!Only good thing is That you can take your own beer, which you’ll finish while waiting, then the owner starts serving his friends that sat after you & tells you he has known them for 5 yrs lolCrawfish has no taste, he didn’t want to split the 5/25 we wanted 4 lbs house mix and 1lb of butter, he refused and said “because crawfish was already boiled”The rice had no taste at aLL, catfish and shrimp were cold & small (by the way that was more like a small tilapia).Calamari was soggy Af for $16 & it’s not even a lb.The salad was dried, asked for more dressing and the owner refused to bring more dressing because to him it already had a lot ?All he did was go around the tables complaining that he had to be the server at his own restaurant.Pros: the Mini egg rolls & corn were good.Save the trip and go to Blazing Cajun(Sharpstown)
Came in at 10:30 am with family, really enjoy the food and environment. We got 5Lb for $25 promotionand some chicken wings, .Pho. Owner is very friendly, very clean restaurant. We would definitely come back more.
We came on a Friday night at peak hours around 7:30pm. It was jam packed and the owners were too busy to look up and acknowledge us. We just went and stood next to the only available table for a long while before we were seated. We ordered lemon pepper wings and two orders of the the 5 for 5 special crawfish. One order for House Sauce and one order for Cajun Garlic Butter sauce. The crawfish were cooked perfectly. I would NOT order the house sauce; it was not the typical Vietnamese house sauce I'm used too and was bland in my opinion. The Cajun Garlic Butter was much more tasty; order this flavor instead if you go here. Though we ordered spicy, they were not spicy at all. However they did accommodate and re tossed my order with spicier hot chili powder. My order was for house sauce was small and lukewarm, but my other order was huge in size and steaming hot. The sausage was ok...not spicy or flavorful. The corn was cooked perfectly! Service was great once you are seated. If you go, do NOT go at peak hours and do NOT order the house sauce if you are used to the Vietnamese style sweet, orangey, onion, garlic butter. Other than that the special 5 lbs for $5/lb is a very pretty sweet deal than anywhere else.
This restaurant is located beside star cinema grill. Michelle, i believe is the owner, helped us with our orders. Ordered 5lbs of crawfish and some shrimp to go.Love the house sauce (cajun+butter garlic). They also offer pho, and other Vietnamese entrees.Service was excellent and the food was great.Just a little note on the restroom, there wasn't any hand napkins to use when we were there and a little disorganized. Other than that everything was great. Will be back for sure!
