These guys will give you lambi briyani instead of Goat briyani. Once you confront them. They will argue that this is a goat not a lamb.
Food was all fresh and seasoned right.Wr ordered dosa, parotha kurma, idli and gobi manchurian. The chutneys which came with dosa was authentic, dosa by itself was fermented and cooked to perfection. It’s hard to get idli soft and fluffy and this place nailed it !!IParotha perfectly layered and crisp. The korma to go with was delicious.Perfect meal after a long work week. Thanks Mr.Mahesh for the hospitality and Yummy food!
I've been here when it was a dine-in restaurant which had an awesome Kerala lunch buffet on Sundays. Now, the establishment has switched to takeout and catering only. Bit of a bummer as the buffet had items not on the current menu. As for the takeout menu, I'd recommend the lemon rice, chicken 65, biryani, goat curry, vegetable chettinad, and fish molee. Chettinad is a local go-to for quick Kerala takeout. The flavor has lessened of late so I'd suggest asking to kick up the spice level to compensate. I'll edit this after trying more items worth writing about.
I ordered food from here for my son's birthday.. butter chicken, chicken kurma and butter naan.. not at all appealing.. Even the guests who came for the party said didn't want to eat it.. they preferred having the Chicken biriyani and Chicken lollipop ordered from elsewhere.. A big let down.. I wouldn't recommend it for a party food.
Tried yesterday for the first time. Dine-In was closed so ordered take out. Ordered Kerala parottas, Beef Roast and Kerala fish curry. Really delicious food at fair price. Will definitely get back to check out more on their menu.
Yesterday was the second time visiting this establishment for dine in services. My previous visit was pre-covid. Just wanted to give them a shout out. From the minute my family and I walked in to have lunch to the minute we left, the service was impeccable. The host was friendly. The food was AMAZING! I heard they are closing dine in, which is kinda sad since it would have been nice to have a place to go but I understand why the restaurant decided to go to take out. Looking forward to my future visits. One of the best South Indian places in Houston.
Little hole in the wall with pretty decent food. The place was not busy even though it was lunch time. The restroom facilities need attention. Even though they have signs accepting credit cards the don't. Their prices are higher compared to other similar Indian food establishments
Better tasting desi food than most other desi restaurants I've visited. The flavor is more authentic than most... I would still not compare it with the restaurants back home in India.
This has to be on your list of fried catfish. I've been coming here since it opened and I have not eaten a bad meal.
Hands down the best Indian food I have had in the USA. Excellent taste. Good service. Authentic taste. Try the goat vindaloo!
