Muy rica la comida y el buen servicio, solamente tengo una pregunta, porque 39 Taqueria?
I had a quick bite to eat at Taqueria 39 on 495 and Taylor road in Mission. It's a small taqueria, ( then again most are) with a modern vibe. Nice artworks, hanging lights, and practical seating. I ordered Trumpo tacos and a diet coke. Once I ordered and sat down a selection of salsas were brought to the table, as well as, a cup of beans. I was told the Habenero and pineapple salsa is only served on the weekend, It was one of the best salsas I've had in some time, It was really good. My tacos arrived along with the baked potato I ordered, my potato was cold, not even warm, but it was replaced by a steaming one. The tacos had tender pork on soft corn tortillas, were well seasoned, and came with grilled onions. The Tacos were pretty good. I wish they were the traditional six tacos normally served in the RGV, but only four on the plate. I really liked the place and I want to bring my wife to eat here, she loves tacos.
I loved 39 Taqueria very much! Plenty of seating, great staff, and delicious food! The homemade varieties of salsas were amazing! I enjoyed the way the complementary chips and salsa were presented. The menu was simple. I hate cluttered and complex menus. Definitely will go again.
I get the order of taquitos to go, they didn't include onion or cilantro, I just ate plain taquitos ?♀️

The salsa is awesome. The Tacos were very tasty, but we're a little expensive. The food was excellent and the crew was nice.
